DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/13/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on November 13th, 2019. Dale Johnson provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

The Portland Trail Blazers, Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers are all on the second night of back-to-back sets in Wednesday's slate. We also have the Los Angeles Clippers entering the first night of a back-to-back. Paul George (shoulder) is reported to make his return either Wednesday or Thursday. It is most likely that Kawhi Leonard is rested for one and George makes his debut in the other.

With the teams on back-to-backs and others dealing with injuries, remember to take advantage of veterans or banged up players sitting.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/13/19.  You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.  Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before line-up lock.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Lou Williams - PG/SG, LAC @ HOU ($7,200)

Despite coming off the bench and in his 15th year of his career, Lou Williams has been an elite playmaker this year. Williams is averaging 22.3 points, 5.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 three-pointers per game this season. Williams and the Clippers visit the Houston Rockets who have one of the worst defenses in the league. The Rockets lead the league in pace due to their high-powered offense, but this has caused lackluster defense on the other end. The Rockets give up the second-most points to opposing guards and the fifth-most points to opposing teams overall. The Rockets will also likely have Eric Gordon (knee) and Danuel House (back) out of the contest, leaving very little in the way to a big night for Williams.

Fred Vanvleet - PG/SG, TOR @ POR ($7,100)

Already without Kyle Lowry (thumb) and Serge Ibaka (ankle), the injury bug has continued to plague the Raptors with OG Anunoby (eye) ruled out for Wednesday as well. Fred VanVleet has been leaned on heavily lately. In the past two games, VanVleet has played 39 and 45 minutes and hoisted up 18 and 20 shots, respectively. On sheer volume alone, VanVleet makes a good play for Wednesday. However, VanVleet also visits a Portland team who has been struggling on defense. Portland allows the third-most field goals made and fourth-most three-pointers made to opposing guards this season. VanVleet should get all the run he can handle and is in a good position to put up at least 15 shots Wednesday.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Jayson Tatum - SF/PF, BOS v. WAS ($7,500)

Jayson Tatum was a walking brick on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks. Like historically bad shooting. Tatum was one-for-18 from the field, only the ninth player in NBA history to have at least 18 field goal attempts and only one made field goal. So where am I going with this? Tatum still attempted 18 shots, Gordon Hayward (hand) is out for weeks and Kemba Walker (head) could possibly be limited on Wednesday. Tatum is a career 45.6 percent shooter and the law of averages suggest this was just a bad game. Not to mention, the opposing forwards are shooting 47.6 percent against the Washington Wizards this season. All signs point to a bounce-back game for Tatum.

LeBron James - PG/SF, LAL v. GSW ($10,700)

Neither Lebron James nor Anthony Davis have missed a game this season. However, the Lakers are on entering the second half of their first back-to-back set of the season. As of right now, the Lakers have not submitted their injury report for Wednesday's game. This is mostly speculation, but of the two, James is much healthier with Davis nursing a lingering shoulder injury. If the Lakers are going to rest either, they will most likely rest Davis over James. The Lakers also have the pleasure of facing the Golden State Warriors at home. Opponents are shooting a league-best 44.7 percent from the field and scoring the third-most points against the Warriors this season. If James does indeed play, he should dominate in what should have been a much more interesting game.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Chris Boucher - PF/C, TOR @ POR ($4,300)

We have to find value somewhere and look no further than Chris Boucher of the Toronto Raptors. Boucher is extremely raw and we haven't really seen his potential yet, but he has filled in nicely for the injured Serge Ibaka (ankle) albeit a small sample size. In the past two games without Ibaka, Boucher averaged 14.0 points on 57.1 percent shooting, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 steals in just 23.0 minutes per game. Now, the Raptors will also be without OG Anunoby (eye) on Wednesday. Boucher has an opportunity to gain extra minutes at the four and will face the Portland Trail Blazers who are on the second night of a back-to-back. Give Boucher a look if you need value at his current price tag.
