DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/12/18): NBA DFS Lineups

We have a nine-game slate to kick off our NBA week and the slate is loaded. There are six players over $9K you may want to pay up for, so let's take a look at some players in the mid-range who could offer a bit of saving to help you get up to the top players.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/12/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings.

You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups to early and check player statuses prior to opening tip. Give me a follow on Twitter @DFS_Tom with questions or comments. Good luck everyone.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Quinn Cook - PG, GS @ LAC (DK - $5,000)

With Stephen Curry already ruled out for this game, we should see Cook get the start again making him a great savings play tonight. This game has an over-under set at 214, which isn't super high but the Warriors are playing up in pace so Cook is in a good spot. In their most recent game, he got the start and posted 41 DraftKings points in just 30 minutes. That is fantastic production for a player at his price range and we should see him in a spot to do that again being up against the Clippers who are giving up 45 DraftKings points per game to point guards.

Justin Holiday - SG, CHI vs DAL (DK - $5,000)

Holiday may be posting under one fantasy point per minute, but the floor of points he has is still strong. He has posted 20 DraftKings points or more in eight of his last 10 games and is doing this all while around just $5K. Tonight Holiday is up against the Mavericks who are 30th in defensive efficiency against shooting guards, giving him plenty of upside to reach and exceed that production again.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard - SF, TOR vs NO (DK - $8,700)

Leonard seems a bit too cheap tonight considering he is up against the Pelicans who are 27th DvP against small forwards. We all know the situation surrounding Leonard and his playing in consecutive games, so just be warned that there is always a chance he may sit. It should be noted that he's had a full off day and there has been no indication as of yet he won't play. Leonard has posted 41 DraftKings points in seven of his last 10 games.

Montrezl Harrell - PF, LAC vs GS (DK - $5,600)

Love the production Harrell is putting up right now and is going largely unnoticed for it, which should make him a solid GPP play tonight. He comes in averaging 1.25 fantasy points per minute this season and a usage rate sitting at 22.5%. He is getting it done by pulling in over six rebounds per game and scoring in double-digit real points in nine of his last 10 games. Harrell also has a bit of tournament appeal due to his blocked shots, which are always a nice fantasy booster.

DraftKings DFS Center

Nikola Vucevic - C, ORL @ WAS (DK - $8,500)

Vucevic is set to be one of the best spots of the night, only if Aaron Gordon is out. Gordon missed Orlando's game yesterday and his status is unclear for tonight's game. This season when Gordon is off the court, Vucevic is averaging 1.29 fantasy points per minute this season, along with a 24.3% usage rate. Those are some monster numbers for a player under $9K and essentially makes him a value play. It's not a value play due to price, it's due to the increase in the role he will have but is not priced up.
