DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (10/27/19): NBA DFS Lineups

Karl-Anthony Towns - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on October 27, 2019. Austyn Varney provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Welcome to NBA Sunday! With most eyes pointed towards the NFL, we have plenty of money to make over here on the court. We have just four games on the main slate, but there is plenty to look at across the board. Jimmy Butler will remain out, which leaves a lot of opportunity in a Miami Heat offense that's facing a fast Timberwolves squad.

Let's dive in!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/27/19.  You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.  Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before line-up lock.  Find me in the NBA Chat Room if you have questions or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Luka Doncic - PG/SG, DAL vs. POR ($9,500)

Doncic already recorded his first triple-double of the season and we’re only two games in. He gets another phenomenal match-up tonight against Damian Lillard and the Blazers. Doncic has an incredible 30% usage up to this point and it’s really just the Doncic and Porzingis show with Delon Wright as the guy who makes it flow. Doncic has the ball in his hands every play and the Blazers simply don’t have the personnel to slow him down. Doncic is my favorite guard on the slate.

Justise Winslow - PG/SF, MIA @ MIN ($7,200)

Justise Winslow is an easy choice with Jimmy Butler out of the lineup. In two tough match-ups, Winslow has put up 48 and 36 fantasy points. He’s an excellent point forward and he will still get run when Butler is back. The Timberwolves play fast and Winslow is going to have the ball in his hands for 34-38 minutes. The price still isn’t high enough to fade him.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Bam Adebayo - PF/C, MIA @ MIN ($7,000)

Adebayo is my favorite PF for the price. It’s not too close, either. The Timberwolves like to run and Bam Adebayo is a guy who thrives on running the floor. KAT is an amazing offensive player, but he’s not very good on defense and he takes a lot of chances. I expect them to match-up for a lot of this game. Adebayo is a guy I think is locked into 35 fantasy points with a real upside for 60.

Rodney Hood - SG/SF, POR @ DAL ($4,200)

Hood has been over 30 minutes in each of the first two games and his price is still depressed. Without Maurice Harkless, it looks like Rodney Hood is going to be a big part of this offense. Hood has always been a great scorer, and this Blazers’ second team really lets him open things up. Dallas isn’t a superb match-up, but maybe that just means Hood will be looked at for a little bit more of a scoring punch against a Mavs second unit that can struggle at guard. Hood is too cheap for the upside he brings to the table.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns - C, MIN vs. MIA ($10,100)

I will have 100% Karl-Anthony Towns this season. I think the Heat keep it close here, but they don’t have anyone to cover Towns. Bam is too small and Olynyk is too little. Towns put up a ridiculous 83 fantasy points in just 29 minutes of work, so we may see a 100 burger dropped this year. I know it’s crazy to say, but watch out. Towns is too good to pass up for me on this slate. The Heat are playing faster this season and this over/under is well over 220. Towns is a phenomenal option in all formats.
