DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (1/15/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on January 15, 2019. Justin Bales provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a surprisingly large Tuesday slate (six games) after only six games last night. While it certainly hurts the Monday slate to only feature six games, it makes the Tuesday slate significantly more manageable. Compared to most weeks, we have a multitude of ways to construct lineups on this slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/15/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings.

You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups to early and check player statuses prior to opening tip. Give me a follow on Twitter @BalesSJustin with questions or comments. Good luck everyone.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, at ATL ($11,600)

Westbrook has been producing extremely well recently, as he's averaging 25.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, 13.4 assists, and 1.2 steals (62.2 fantasy points) in 39.0 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He gets a matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, who love pushing the pace, and feature one of the worst defensive backcourts in the NBA. Westbrook only scored 51.25 fantasy points against them in their first matchup, but he could be in line for a massive triple double tonight.

Kelly Oubre Jr. - SG/SF, at IND ($5,200)

Oubre is far from a consistent option, but he comes with unmatched upside for his current price tag. He has played 30+ minutes in each of his last three games, while scoring 52.25 and 46.75 fantasy points in two of those games. Devin Booker will return tonight, which adds more uncertainty to Oubre, but he'll still play a solid role in this game. The matchup is difficult, and Oubre shouldn't be considered in cash games, but he makes a high upside tournament option.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Justise Winslow - PG/SF, at MIL ($6,500)

Winslow has been playing at a high level for quite some time, as he has scored 30+ fantasy points in seven of his last 10 games, including four games with 40+ fantasy points. Overall, he's averaging 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.4 assists (34.2 fantasy points) in 30.0 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He needed only 27.3 minutes to score 26 fantasy points against the Milwaukee Bucks, and he has taken on a larger role recently. Winslow makes a great option on this slate.

Bam Adebayo - PF/C, at MIL ($5,200)

It's impossible to trust Adebayo, but he has performed well in limited minutes recently. Over his last five games, he's averaging 11.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1.6 steals (29.4 fantasy points) in only 26.5 minutes per game. Furthermore, Adebayo has scored 30+ fantasy points in four of those five games. He gets a tough matchup against Milwaukee, but Adebayo makes a solid option for a low price tag. He should strictly be used in tournaments, though.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, vs GS ($10,300)

Jokic has been playing at an unbelievable level recently, averaging 28.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 1.0 steal (58.8 fantasy points) in 33.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has also scored 60+ fantasy points in four of his last eight games, including two games with 70+ fantasy points. He gets a solid matchup against the Golden State Warriors, who don't feature any bigs that will be able to slow down Jokic. He's still entirely too cheap, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.
