DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (5/18/16 - 5/19/16): NBA DFS Advice

Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 5/18/16 - 5/19/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

Was anyone else surprised that the Warriors lost the first game? I really thought they were going to dominate in the playoffs, and it has been anything but that. I understand Curry was injured, but there's no excuse anymore.

Okay, back to business. In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/18/16 - 5/19/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on DraftKings.

Without wasting anymore time, here are the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook (at GS, $11,100)

The Thunder are going to have to rely heavily on Westbrook, as they did in the first game. He dominated in the second half on his way to 67.5 fantasy points. He has triple double potential every time he steps on the court. The Warriors didn't display the ability to stop him in the first game, and he should be full of confidence coming into this game. He can be used in all leagues.

Kyle Lowry (at CLE, $8,600)

Lower has really been heating up lately, as he scored 65.75 fantasy points in the final game of the series against the Heat. Lowry dominated the Cavs during the season, but he struggled in the first game. Lowry has continuously shown up in big games for the Raptors, and they would be in a tough spot if they go down 0-2 to Cleveland. Lowry has elite upside, but he doesn't have the big price tag, and he's a great option in tournaments tonight.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant (at GS, $10,200)

It's a bit surprising that KD is cheaper than LeBron James because of their matchups. Durant has dominated the Warriors this season, although he only scored 50.5 fantasy points against them in the first game. He took 30 shots in that game, which means he has significantly more upside than he has displayed, as he only made 10 of those shots. He's too cheap tonight, as he has scored 50+ fantasy points in three of his last four games, and he can be used in all leagues.

Patrick Patterson (at CLE, $4,600)

This price tag was a bit higher than what I wanted to pay for PatPatt tonight. He has been playing huge minutes for the Raptors and he does have great upside. He recently scored 30+ fantasy points against the Heat, and his scoring could be a huge part in the Raptors success this series. Patterson has the ability to shoot the three, while also grabbing rebounds, although he isn't the most aggressive player on the court. Still, he can be used in all leagues, as you need to find value on the two games slate.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Steven Adams (at GS, $5,900)

Adams may be the highest owned player on the slate, and for good reason. He has looked dominant recently, as he has scored 30+ fantasy points in five of his last six games. He double doubled in each of those five games, and he looked great against the Warriors in his first game. His price tag is entirely too low, and Adams can be used in all leagues tonight.
