DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (5/15-16/16): NBA DFS Advice

One series is about to end. Another is ready to begin.

A game seven holds two teams fate in its hands as LeBron James waits to feast on his next opponent. The Western Conference finals will begin on Monday, and I'm assuming everyone is as excited as I am. It's always wise to target a game seven simply because the predicted competitive nature of the contest. But moving forward, Golden State versus Oklahoma City is the series to watch for Daily Fantasy.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/15/16-5/16/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook (at GS, $11,300)

Oh boy, this is going to be fun. The best advice I can give for Sunday and Monday's slate is to spend up at the guard position, and go value elsewhere. Specifically because of these two guys. You have to imagine the shootout and battle that's brewing between Westbrook and Curry, which can only mean good things for Daily Fantasy. Westbrook has been a beast all postseason, posting three straight double-doubles, and continuously flirting with triple-doubles. He has posted 50+ fantasy points in five straight.

Stephen Curry (vs OKC, $10,500)

While on the subject of beasts, Steph Curry returned from injury and took control of the series against the Portland Trailblazers. He posted 55.75 and 63.75 fantasy points in games four and five, and is always capable of breaking out. Curry is a consistent threat from downtown and is one of the best Daily Fantasy options any time he laces up. There's no reason to fade either of the two.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Patrick Patterson (vs MIA, $4,300)

Patterson has posted two straight productive showings for Daily Fantasy, especially for his price. Logging fantasy scores of 20.0 and 19.0 isn't exactly mind-blowing, but it's plenty to help balance out a lineup for tournaments. Patterson really shouldn't be used in head-to-head's but provides a ton of salary relief for the big guys above. He's capable of flirting with double-doubles and doing just enough to hit expectation.

Justise Winslow (at TOR, $3,800)

With only two games on the slate, it's capable to cash with a less than normal score. Insert guys like Winslow who won't necessarily break out for 30 fantasy points, but can also do just enough to help your total score. Winslow has posted 17.75, 15.75, and 17 in his last three. Although not ideal, I wouldn't complain about any, especially if I had Westy and Curry going as well. He spreads just enough stats and will look to help the Heat advance to the Eastern Conference finals.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Bismack Biyombo (vs MIA, $6,000)

This, to me, is an obvious choice at center. Mainly because pretty much everyone else is injured. Miami has no real big-man-threat with Hassan Whiteside out and will likely go small again in game seven. Also with Jonas Valanciunas on the sideline, Biyombo should see over 30 minutes and is a double-double threat.
