DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (4/16/17): NBA DFS Advice

FanDuel DraftKings daily fantasy basketball

The top DraftKings daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 4/16/17 by Justin Bales. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings.

There are a few players tonight who come with low price tags because of recent injuries. This is the time to take advantage of it, as these players' price tags will certainly skyrocket as the playoffs continue.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/16/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @BalesSJustin on Twitter.

Let's get rolling.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook – PG, at HOU ($13,800)

Westbrook has been enjoying an elite season, as he averaged 31.7 points, 10.6 rebounds, 10.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. He recently scored 93 fantasy points against the Nuggets, and that is the type of upside he possesses. The playoffs are a time when stars tend to take over games, and Westbrook will be looking to make a statement against James Harden, who is also in the conversation for the MVP award. Westbrook isn’t going to come cheap, but he’s an elite option in all leagues on this slate.

Denzel Valentine – SG/SF, at BOS ($2,900)

Valentine is a player that could go a bit overlooked, as he did not play more than 11 minutes in any of his last three games. That is because the Bulls were resting some players a bit, a Valentine is expected to play minutes in the mid-20s tonight. His ability to play multiple positions will also help him get on the court for the Bulls. Valentine comes with an extremely low price tag, and he’s the type of player that is necessary to player the more expensive guys.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant – SF, vs POR ($8,800)

It’s crazy to see Durant priced this low, especially in a great matchup against a fast paced Blazers team. Durant averaged 20.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 5.7 assists in three games since returning from injury. He also looked fully healthy in his last game, scoring 51.5 fantasy points in only 27 minutes. His price tag is going to skyrocket soon, and he is a must start in all leagues on this slate.

Paul Millsap – PF, at WAS ($7,100)

Millsap is another player that is too cheap based on a recent injury. He’ll return to full minutes tonight, and Millsap is averaging 17.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.3 steals in 33.4 minutes per game this season. He isn’t always seen as a star, but he’s the player that will be taking over the playoffs for the Hawks. He gets a great matchup against a fast paced Wizards team, and Millsap makes a tremendous option in all leagues tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nene Hilario – C, vs OKC ($3,900)

The playoffs allow for players’ price tags to drop, which happened to Nene. He has scored at least 25 fantasy points in three of his last five games, and he saw limited minutes in the two games he was not able to reach that number. He has been scoring extremely well for the Rockets recently, but he can also contribute in multiple other categories. He has also played well against the Thunder in four matchups this season, and Nene is a great option in all leagues.
