DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (12/16/17): NBA DFS Advice

We have a big nine game NBA slate to start off our weekend, and there are some very interesting options across the board. There are a number of injuries going around, so this should open up some value plays once we get the starting lineups.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/16/17. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @DFS_Tom on Twitter. Let's get to it.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Jeff Teague - PG, MIN vs PHO (DK - $6,500)

Teague is up against the Suns, who are giving up 50 DraftKings points per game to points guards, which is dead last in the league. This is a prime spot for him, since this is also a pace up spot for the Timberwolves.  This means extra touches and chances on the ball for Teauge, who is already averaging 31 DraftKings points per game. He isn't too expensive, and should be good for any format tonight. He has a 21% usage rate, and averaging 0.91 fantasy points per minute.

Donovan Mitchell - SG, UTA @ CLE (DK - $6,900)

Mitchell has a 31% usage rate, which is a team high, and should be seeing more touches, now that Rudy Gobert is off the court with an injury. Mitchell has 39 or more DraftKings points in three of his last four games, and is up against the Cavaliers, who are giving up 43 DraftKings points per game to shooting guards. This game has an over under set at 210 points so we should see plenty of offense. Should be good for any format, since he has the consistency for cash games, and the upside due to the match up, and increase in touches.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Al-Farouq Aminu - SF, POR @ CHA (DK - $5,000)

Aminu has 27 or more DraftKings points in three of his last four games, and is up against the Hornets, who are giving up 43 DraftKings points to small forwards. This game does not have an over-under set as of now, but it should be decently high. Aminu makes a good cash game play tonight, since he isn't too expensive, and will allow you to get up to higher priced players. The match up is also very solid, so he should have a solid floor of points. He only need 25 DraftKings points in order to hit 5x value for cash games.

LaMarcus Aldridge - PF, SA vs DAL (DK - $8,000)

Aldridge is up against the Mavericks who are giving up 47 DraftKings points per game to power forwards. The Spurs did get Kawhi Leonard back, but he isn't playing a full compliment of minutes, which means Aldridge should still plenty of looks on offense. He has a 31% usage rate, and is averaging 1.16 fantasy points per minute. One of the best point per dollar plays on the slate, since he has such consistent minutes, along with the usage.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Enes Kanter - C, NY vs OKC (DK - $6,800)

Kanter will be up against his former team tonight, so if you like a good DFS narrative, then this is the spot for you. Anytime a player gets traded and then is up against his former team he is in for a revenge game, and a fun spot to roster. He 28 DraftKings points in three of his last four games, and is now up against the Thunder, who are giving up 52 DK points to centers. The match up is actually a good spot for him, and now this combined with the revenge narrative, he should put up a big game.
