DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (12/15/17)

The top DraftKings daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 12/15/17 by Justin Bales. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings.

There was a slightly small slate last night, but we have a massive slate tonight. With that being said, the forward options on this slate are far from elite. The guard position is significantly better, and that seems like the position to attack tonight.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/15/17. I will try to find the players who provide the most value based on their price, but also give you a few GPP dart throws for each position whose upside I have interest in.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @BalesSJustin on Twitter. Let's get this money!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Chris Paul - PG/SG, vs SA ($8,600)

Paul finally looked comfortable in the Houston offense, and he has been playing at an elite level recently. Over the last 10 days, Paul is averaging 23.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 8.6 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. He was able to score between 38 and 63 fantasy points in each of those five games. He is entirely too cheap on this slate, even in a matchup against the San Antonio Spurs tonight.

David Nwaba - PG/SG, at MIL ($4,200)

Nwaba's price tag is on the rise, but it is still a bit too cheap. Over his last four games, he is averaging 10.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.3 blocks in 29.5 minutes per game. He gets a solid matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, who have struggled to rebound the ball this season. He is not going to be this cheap for much longer, meaning he needs to be used until his price tag is too high.

Other Guards to Consider: Nicolas Batum, John Wall, Victor Oladipo, Kris Dunn, Rajon Rondo

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Will Barton - SG/SF, vs NO ($6,600)

Barton is currently questionable, but he is tentatively expected to play tonight. He has caught fire recently, averaging 16.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 1.6 steals in 39.4 minutes per game. He has been a slightly better option on a per minute basis at home this season, and he gets a good matchup against a fast paced Pelicans team. If Barton is active, he makes a great option tonight.

Lauri Markkanen - PF, at MIL ($5,200)

Markkanen is another player that is currently questionable, but he was expected to return in the Bulls last game, meaning he will likely return tonight. He has looked outstanding this season, averaging 29.9 fantasy points in 30.4 minutes per game. He has quickly become one of the focal points of the Bulls offense, and he is locked into 30 minutes each night. He is a player that mainly relies on scoring and rebounding, and he gets a good matchup against one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA. Keep an eye on his status, but once he is announced as the starter, he can be considered in all leagues.

Other Forward to Consider: Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Ben Simmons, Trevor Ariza, Caris LeVert

DraftKings DFS Centers

Joel Embiid - C, vs OKC ($9,800)

Embiid was on a minute's restriction earlier this season, but that is not the case anyone. He is locked into minutes in the mid- to high-30s, and he is averaging 1.55 fantasy points per minute over the last 10 days. He gets a decent matchup against the Thunder tonight, and Philadelphia will need Embiid to play well if they want to keep up with Westbrook and company. It's tough to avoid Embiid for this price tag and his upside, but he is a player that may be best suited for tournaments.

Other Centers to Consider: Al Horford, Myles Turner, Andre Drummond
