DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (11/11/16): NBA DFS Advice

Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 11/11/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

The 2016-’17 NBA season is officially underway. The first few weeks of the season always offer up tough choices, as decisions are largely based off of a small sample size.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/10/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @hayudi18.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Kemba Walker – PG, TOR ($7,500)

Walker has been enjoying an All Star type of season. He’s averaging 23.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Raptors, who have struggled to guard the point guard this season. Walker is the main scorer for the Hornets, and they will need him to keep up with DeMar DeRozan tonight. He’s still a bit too cheap, and he can safely be used in all leagues.

Rodney Hood – SG, @ORL ($5,800)

Hood comes with a bit more risk than his recent games suggest. He can’t continue to shoot over 50% from the field all season, but luckily, we only need him to do it for one more night. He has been on fire from beyond the arc recently, and hot streaks are a huge part of basketball. He gets a great matchup against the Magic, who have tried to become a more defensive team this season, but it hasn’t worked out well yet. Hood still isn’t all that expensive, and he can be used in all leagues for now.

Danny Green – SG, DET ($4,000)

Green returned to the Spurs starting line in his last game, and he scored 25.25 fantasy points in only 26 minutes. He should see a small uptick in minutes tonight, which only boosts his value. He has much more upside than he displayed in his first game, as he only shot 25% from beyond the arc in that game. He gets a solid matchup against the Pistons, and Green is a safe salary relief option tonight.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

LeBron James – SF/PF, @WAS ($10,200)

LeBron James has been a man on a mission. He’s nearly averaging a triple double this season. Through his first seven games, he is scoring 22.9 points with 8.9 rebounds, 9.9 assists, and 1.0 steal per game. He’s locked into huge minutes for the Cavs, and he gets a great matchup against the Wizards tonight. Washington has played in a few shootouts this season, and those are the types of games that James is at his best in. His price tag finally jumped up, but he can still be used in all leagues.

Gordon Hayward – SF, @ORL ($7,200)

Hayward recently returned from injury, and he has been the focal point of the Jazz offense. They aren’t fast paced, but Hayward has been taking nearly 20 shots per game. He’s scoring at an extremely high clip, but he’s also adding peripheral stats to his line each night. He gets a great matchup against the Magic, who have struggled defensively this season, and Hayward is still a bit too cheap. He’s one of many small forwards that can be used tonight.

Otto Porter – SF, CLE ($6,500)

Porter seems as if he has finally adapted to the speed of the NBA. This has been his breakout season, and while it’s still early, Porter has shown a ton of promise. He’s coming off a huge 72.5 fantasy point game against the Celtics, and he gets another solid matchup against the Cavs tonight. The Wizards will likely turn this game into a shootout, which will give Porter more opportunities for fantasy points. He does come with a bit of risk, but his price tag is entirely too cheap, and he can be used in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Kevin Love – PF/C, @WAS ($7,600)

Kevin Love finally looks comfortable in the Cavs offense, as he’s averaging 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game this season. He has been scoring a ton this season, and he’s always a threat to double double. He gets a good matchup against the Wizards, who don’t have anyone that are going to be able to guard Love. He’s a cheaper way to get a part of the Cavs offense, and he can be used in all leagues.

Joel Embiid – C, IND ($5,900)

Everyone seems to avoid Joel Embiid because of his minute’s restriction, but he’s a player that can easily exceed value at his current price tag. He has a ridiculous usage rating, and he is set to play 25 minutes tonight if the game stays close. He has more than enough upside to his value at his current price tag, but he has also been consistent enough to be used in cash games. He’s a cheap way to get upside in your lineup, although you will have to deal with him playing on a strict minute’s schedule.
