DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 1/6/16

By Keith Allison [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 1/6/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

It's absolutely how amazing one injury can stop an entire team. The Suns were a somewhat average team until Eric Bledsoe was injured for the season, and now they are arguably worse than the Sixers. Hopefully Booker can get it going, and prove why he was such a highly regarded prospect.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 1/6/16. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Kemba Walker (at PHO, $8,200)

Walker has been on fire recently, as he’s averaging 26.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2.5 steals per game over the last 10 days. He has displayed tremendous combination of consistency and upside recently, and his price is still a bit too cheap. He gets a great matchup against the Suns, who have really struggled defensively since the Eric Bledsoe injury. Waker should have very little problems dominating tonight, and he makes a great play in all leagues.

Norris Cole (vs DAL, $4,500)

Cole has been playing huge minutes over the last few games for the Pelicans, and he has scored 44.0, 29.25, and 32.0 fantasy points in those three contests. He has displayed an ability to score in four categories, and he gets a great mathup against the Mavs, who he recently dominated for 44.0 fantasy points in his last game. Cole has been playing well enough to guarantee himself big minutes, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Rodney Hood (at SA, $5,800)

Hood has been on fire over the last three games, as he has taken over for an Alec Burks, and he is averaging 42.5 fantasy points per game over that span. He gets a tough matchup against the Spurs, who have one of the best defenses in the NBA, but Hood is scoring at an extremely high rate, and adding a few peripheral stats each night. He hasn’t priced himself out yet, and he’s a good option in all leagues.

Evan Turner (vs DET, $5,600)

Turner has been benefitting from the Avery Bradley injury, and if he is out again tonight, Turner can be used in all leagues. Over the last 10 days, Turner is averaging 15.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per games. He gets a good matchup against the Pistons, who has has played well against in three games this season. If Bradley plays tonight, Turner will see his minutes decrease, and he’ll be a GPP only option.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Paul George (at ORL, $9,100)

George has been heating up recently, as he has scored 50+ fantasy points in three consecutive games. He gets a great matchup against the Magic tonight, who love to turn games into shootouts, which will benefit PG13. He played well against them in their one meeting this season, and George’s price isn’t all that high yet. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 23.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. He can be used in all leagues while he’s on this hot streak.

P.J. Tucker (vs CHA, $4,800)

The Suns have recently stated that they don’t want Tucker playing much power forward, but they have done little to show that they mean it. He’s playing huge minutes for an injured Phoenix team, and he has flashed tremendous upside in that time, as he recently scored over 40 fantasy points. He gets a good matchup against the Hornets, who have struggled at times on defense this season, and he is a good option for his low price tag tonight.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Thaddeus Young (vs TOR, $7,400)

It looks like Young is going to be a major benefit of the Jarrett Jack injury, as managed 52.25 fantasy points in his first game with Jack out. Tonight, he gets a decent against the Raptors, who have been an average defense against the power forward this season. Young has really been heating up recently, and it looks like he will be getting extra scoring opportunities from here on out. He can be used in all leagues.

Tristan Thompson (at WAS, $5,200)

Thompson was recently inserted into the starting lineup, and he is coming off two consecutive double doubles. He’s playing around 30 minutes per game, and while he isn’t adding many stats outside of rebounds and points, he still has fairly good upside. He comes with a bit of risk, even in his starting role, and he’s a GPP only option.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Andre Drummond (at BOS, $9,000)

Drummond’s price is on the decline, as he hasn’t been playing all that well recently, but he gets a great matchup tonight. He’ll face off against the Celtics, who he is averaging 19 points, 17 rebounds, one assist, one block, and two steals per game against this season. Boston doesn’t have anyone who is big enough to stick with Drummond in the post, and he makes a great play in all leagues.
