Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 12/9/15. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

Wow. Have you seen that Warriors v. Pacers game last night? Klay, Curry, and PG13 were unbelievable. At worst, you should go watch a recap, and just get a small glimpse of what greatness in the NBA looks like.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 12/9/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Brandon Knight (vs ORL, $7,500)

I’m a bit worried about paying this much for Knight right now, but this is the perfect situation for him. The Magic love pushing the pace, as do the Suns, so there should be plenty of opportunities to score tonight. Knight is a huge part of the Suns offense, and he has displayed an ability to score the ball multiple ways this season. The Magic have struggled to contain guards this season, and Knight makes a great GPP option tonight.

Elfrid Payton (at PHO, $6,600)

I’m really going to be attacking this game tonight, and Payton makes a great play for the Magic. He’s playing heavy minutes for Orlando, and he’s a “do it all” type of player. By that, I mean he has the ability to contribute it all five categories, but he’s at an elite level in four of those categories. The Suns have been the worst team in the NBA against point guards this season, and Payton can be used in all leagues, as he’s a bit too cheap tonight.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Victor Oladipo (at PHO, $6,600)

It’s only a matter of time before DraftKings fixes Oladipo’s price tag, but I’ll be using him until that happens. As you know by now, this game is going to be played at an extremely fast paced, which are the types of games that Oladipo thrives in. He’s another guy that can score, rebound, and assist the ball at a high level, while also adding a few blocks and steals in each game. The Suns have been an average defense against shooting guards, and Oladipo can be used in all leagues until his price raises a bit.

Wesley Matthews (vs ATL, $5,000)

As we know from previous seasons, Matthews is a player that can heat up and score fantasy points in bunches at certain times during the season. That looks like it’s happening now, as he has scored 28.25, 59.5, and 30.75 fantasy points in three of his last four games. In his 59.5 fantasy point masterpiece, he took 17 three-point shots, and hit 10 of them. He has also been adding peripheral stats recently, which is where a lot of his value comes, and he makes a good play in all leagues tonight.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs LAC, $6,600)

Alphabet’s minutes were a bit up and down, but it looks like they are staying steadily around 30-35 with Jerryd Bayless injured. Alphabet has also been playing well over his last two games, averaging 17.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.0 blocks, and 1.0 steal per game. He gets a great matchup against the Clippers tonight, who have struggled against small forwards throughout the season. He looks like he’s beginning to heat up, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.

Otto Porter Jr. (vs HOU, $5,800)

Porter has really benefit from all of the frontcourt injuries to the Wizards, as he has played 36 minutes in three consecutive games, and he’s averaging 34.7 fantasy points per game. Gortat is expected to return tonight, but that likely won’t affect Porter because he is too small to play center. Even if all of the Wizards big men return, he will continue to play heavy minutes and look for his shot. He gets a great matchup against the fast paced Rockets, as they have really struggled to guard small forwards this season. Porter makes a great tournament option.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Derrick Favors (vs NY, $7,900)

Favors is going to continue to play huge minutes with Rudy Gobert out, and he has been tremendous when playing big minutes this season. He’s an elite scoring big man, and there are tons of rebounding opportunities without Gobert taking them all in the paint. Favors gets a great matchup against the Knicks tonight, and he can be used in all leagues while his price is still this low.

Larry Nance Jr. (at MIN, $3,200)

It looks like Nance Jr. will stick in the starting lineup for at least the time being. In his first start of the season, he played 29 minutes, which was more than enough time for him to hit value. His price is still extremely low, and he’ll be able to hit value if he plays that much again. He can score, rebound, and block at fairly high rates, and he can be used in all leagues if he’s announced the starter prior to the game.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Andre Drummond (vs MEM, $9,400)

Drummond isn’t quite as safe as he was early in the season, but he does have great upside. Even though he is coming off a bad game, he essentially can be penciled in for a double double with the ability to score 20 points with 20 rebounds. The Grizzlies have really struggled against big men this season, and Drummond has historic rebounding rates this season. He can be used in all leagues tonight.
