DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Damian Lillard (at MIN, $8,900)

It’s tough to go away from Lillard tonight, as he has been absolutely dominate this season, aside from the one game he was injured and only played 17 minutes. He gets a great matchup against a fast paced Minnesota team, and this game should feature a ton of points. Lillard is the leader for the Blazers, and he has triple double potential. He has tremendous upside, but he is also a safe option, and he can be used in all leagues.

Jose Calderon (at MIL, $4,100)

Calderon’s price never really seems to go up, although he has consistently been hitting value and he has also flashed great upside. He plays heavy minutes for the Knicks, which gives him great upside, but also gives him a decent floor. He certainly has struggled in a few games this season, but more often than not, he is exceeding value. The matchup against the Bucks isn’t ideal, but I don’t love the point guards tonight, and Calderon has great upside for his price.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

James Harden (vs SAC, $10,500)

Harden is a do it all player for the Rockets, as he can score, rebound, assist, steal, and block shots. That gives him tremendous fantasy upside, and he gets a great matchup against the Kings tonight, who have one of the worst defenses in the NBA. Harden is on fire right now, and he’s likely going to continue to dominate anyone and everyone he faces. His price isn’t too out of control yet, and he can be used in all leagues.

Jamal Crawford (vs ORL, $4,900)

J.J. Redick was injured in the beginning of the Clippers last game, and Crawford when on to play 37 minutes and score 26.5 fantasy points. He’ll likely be playing heavy minutes again tonight, as Redick is doubtful to face the Magic. Orlando loves pushing the pace and turning games into shootouts. They have one of the worst defenses in the NBA, and scorers, such as Crawford, tend to thrive in matchups against them. Crawford can be used in all leagues if Redick is ruled out tonight.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Nicolas Batum (at CHI, $7,200)

Batum has been on fire recently for the Hornets, as he’s averaging 16.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 2.0 steals per game over the last 10 days. He’s thriving in his new role in the Charlotte offense, and he is playing quite a bit with the ball in his hands. He gets a great matchup against the Bulls, who have been one of the worst teams in the NBA against the small forward this season. Batum’s price is still fairly low because of his ability to dud on any given night, and he’s a great GPP option tonight.

C.J. Miles (at UTA, $5,800)

Miles recently asked to be moved to the power forward position so Paul George could play his more natural position, which is the small forward. While Miles will be a mismatch on the defensive end of the court, he will also be a mismatch on the offensive end of the court, as not many power forwards can keep up with him athletically. In his last game, Miles played 32 minutes and recorded 41.5 fantasy points. If that’s a preview of what he’ll be doing, $5.8K is entirely too cheap for him. The Jazz have a great defense, but they will be without Gobert tonight, and Miles makes a great GPP option.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Kristaps Porzingis (at MIL, $8,100)

Porzingis has been unbelievable this season, recording 10 double doubles in his last 20 games. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 15.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 3.4 blocks per game. If he stays out of foul trouble, he has 60 fantasy point upside, but he has even been scoring 30 fantasy points when he does get into foul trouble. He gets a great matchup against the bucks, who have struggled to guard the power forward this season, and Porzingis is a great option in all leagues.

Trevor Booker (vs IND, $4,400)

Booker only played 15 minutes with Rudy Gobert out against the Magic, but it’s hard to believe those low minutes will continue. He’s their best option at power forward, and he has played extremely well when given a full games worth of minutes. I’m a bit worried about the matchup, as Booker will not be able to guard C.J. Miles, but in turn, Miles won’t be able to guard Booker either. He can be used in GPPs until his role becomes a bit more defined.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Gorgui Dieng (vs POR, $4,500)

Karl-Anthony Towns gets all the credit for the Wolves, but Dieng is playing as many minutes as Towns, has been producing at a much higher rate, and is significantly cheaper. Dieng has been playing extremely well recently, as he’s averaging 11.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.8 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game over his last 10 games. I love anyone who can rebound against the Blazers, and Dieng is the best rebounder on the Wolves. He can be used in all leagues.
