DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 12/30/15

By Keith Allison [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 12/30/15. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

The NBA has a lot of exciting young talent, but with the recent injury to Eric Bledsoe, the youngest player in the NBA, Devin Booker, will be playing heavy minutes. Booker is only 19 years old, which is younger than yours truly. That, everyone, is a bitter sweet feeling.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 12/30/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Chris Paul (at CHA, $9,200)

Paul continues to work his way into this article, and that’s because DraftKings has not appropriately increased his price. He gets a somewhat tough matchup against the Hornets tonight, but Paul is matchup proof without Blake Griffin in the lineup. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 22.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 9.0 assists, and 2.8 steals per game. He played a short game against the Wizards because of a blowout, which means he’ll be fresh for tonight’s contest. Paul can be used in all leagues for his price.

Ish Smith (at SAC, $5,600)

If you remember back when Smith was playing big minutes for the Pelicans earlier this season, his price was closer to $7,000. That’s where it should be tonight, as he’s coming off a huge game, in which he recorded 22 points, 3 rebounds, 11 assists, and 2 steals for the Sixers. He’s locked in as the starting point guard, and he gets a great matchup against a weak Kings defense tonight. Smith has full control of the offense when he’s on the court, and he can be used in all leagues, as he should easily hit value again tonight.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Will Barton (at POR, $7,100)

Danilo Gallinari is expected to miss the game tonight, which means Barton will continue to be a huge part of the offense. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 20.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. He gets a great matchup against the Blazers, who have really struggled on defense at time this season. This game will also be played at an extremely fast pace, as both of these teams love to run. Barton has a great combination of consistency and upside, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.

Devin Booker (at SA, $3,900)

Booker is the youngest player in the NBA, and he’s going to be forced into minutes with the Eric Bledsoe injury. Bledsoe will miss the remainder of the season, and Booker has played 49 minutes in his last two games. He gets a terrible matchup against the Spurs, but Booker is a lights out shooter, and he’s athletic enough to add peripheral stats when given the minutes. The Suns are essentially looking for young pieces, and Booker should get quite a bit of run. His price isn’t going to stay under $4,000 very long, and he makes a great GPP option tonight.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Kawhi Leonard (vs PHO, $8,600)

This game could be a blowout, as the Suns are playing without their best player, but if it’s close, Leonard will be a fantasy gold mine. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 19.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.2 steals per game. He gets a great matchup against the Suns tonight, who he has already dominated for 24 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block, and 4 steals. The Suns don’t have anyone that is going to be able to guard Leonard, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.

Omri Casspi (vs PHI, $6,200)

Casspi certainly comes with a bit of risk, but he’s on fire and he gets a great matchup tonight. The Sixers have been one of the worst defenses in the NBA this season, and Casspi is averaging 38.9 fantasy points per game over his last three games. He has been shooting the ball well recently, but he also can rebound at a high level, while adding a few extra stats in the other categories, as well. The matchup against Philadelphia is ideal, and Casspi makes a great GPP option tonight.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

DeMarcus Cousins (vs PHI, $10,000)

Cousins gets a matchup against the Sixers tonight, and they don’t have anyone that will be able to slow him down. Check before the game starts to make sure he didn’t get suspended because of his actions the other night. If he’s starting, he makes a great option. Before his last game, in which he was ejected, Cousins scored 50+ fantasy points in two consecutive games. He’s a much better player at home, as well, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.

Nerlens Noel (at SAC, $5,900)

It’s tough to get a gauge on Noel tonight if Okafor plays, as we aren’t sure what he’ll be doing in the offensive sets. Noel has been a significantly better player with Ish Smith on the court, which goes back to last season. This season, Noel has scored 39 and 37.25 fantasy points in the two games Smith has played. That hardly seems like a coincidence, although Okafor has been for those two games, and Noel has always been a better fantasy player when playing center. He gets a great matchup tonight against the Kings, and Noel makes a good GPP option tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Vucevic (vs BKN, $7,700)

Vucevic’s price is on the rise, but it’s still entirely too low. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 23.7 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. He gets a great matchup against the Nets tonight, who have been one of the worst teams in the NBA against opposing centers. Vucevic has been one of the best centers in the NBA over the last few games, and he’s a great option in all leagues tonight.
