DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 12/28/15

The name of the game is Hot Streak.

Tonight's lineup features players that have put together a string of production, along with those welcoming new opportunities stemming from injuries, and one point guard involved in the first "big" trade of the season, now playing in the city of Brotherly Love.

Check out my Daily NBA Picks for DraftKings, 12/28/15.

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Ish Smith (at UTA, $4,800)

A change of scenery could do wonders for a player. Especially for one who has been in a slump on a slumping team. Not that the relocation is to a winning team, but in Smith's first game with the Philadelphia 76ers, the point guard played 31 minutes, scoring 14 points, picking up five assists, two rebounds, one block, and one steal. Smith will likely be in a timeshare with Kendall Marshall for one-spot-minutes but he should still see plenty of the floor on a team lacking offensive threats.

Chris Paul (at WAS, $9,000)

Paul has been on a quiet fantasy tear for over two weeks now, posting 40+ fantasy points in nine of his last ten games. CP3's value increases even more with the injury to Blake Griffin, who is expected to miss at least two weeks of action. This will be a battle of two fast-paced, high-scoring teams, featuring two of the league's best point guards. The Wizards surrender the seventh most points (104.6/game) and the eighth most assists (23.0/game).

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Nicolas Batum (vs LAL, $5,200)

Batum is battling a hand injury but is listed as probable for Monday night's favorable matchup against the Lakers. Los Angeles owns the highest opponent points per game in the league, with 107.2 a night. Jeremy Lamb would be an appealing option if Batum sits but for the integrity of this lineup, let's say he will play. Batum is coming off a near triple-double and one of his best fantasy point performances of the season with 52.25; 20 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, two blocks, and one steal.

Devin Booker (vs CLE, $3,500)

Eric Bledsoe is set to miss an extended amount of time. Enter Devin Booker. In Bledsoe's relief Saturday night, Booker dropped 19 points in 20 minutes, including three from downtown on four attempts. Booker will likely start against the Cavaliers and share a backcourt with the talented Brandon Knight. Granted the rookie has not established himself yet, Booker is still a cheap option with an opportunity to shine in an increased-minutes role.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Evan Fournier (vs NO, $5,200)

Fournier has scored in double-digits in four straight games and will likely continue that streak against a Pelicans team battling the Lakers and Kings for sole ownership of the league's worst defense. Fournier has picked up over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four, a steal in six straight, and is an inexpensive option at the three spot.

LeBron James (at PHO, $9,800)

The Cavaliers were sizzling, on a six game winning streak, and then they ran into the defending champions in a rematch of last year's NBA Finals. Regardless of the Cavs' two game losing streak, I'm a huge fan of King James in a matchup versus the Bledsoe-less Phoenix Suns. We can ignore Lebron's most recent uncharacteristic performance against the Trailblazers Saturday. His salary has dipped a bit but we can expect him to reclaim the throne and post well over 40 fantasy points, as he has done in nine straight before Saturday. The Suns own the highest opponent field goal percentage in the league.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Chris Bosh (vs BK, $7,100)

Bosh has enjoyed two straight productive games. In both, he's picked up a double-double, grabbed ten boards, scored over 20, hit two from downtown, drained at least ten from the field, and played over 35 minutes. Now, move your eyes slightly up, and glance at his price. Bosh is a no-brainer against a Nets team that have relinquished over 100 points in eight straight games.

Cody Zeller (vs LAL, $4,600)

With normal starter Marvin Williams battling a neck injury, Zeller could see the court more against the Lakers. We already know about Los Angeles' defensive woes but Zeller has quietly produced under the DraftKings radar in four straight games. In that span, Zeller has posted 20+ fantasy points; effective for his price under $5,000. Over that streak, Zeller also has 30 rebounds, four blocks, seven steals, and has played over 25 minutes in each.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Vucevic (vs NO, $7,400)

It's only fitting that we end with a streaking player. Vucevic has scored at least 20 points, has shot over 50%, and has sunk at least 10 from the field in five straight games. He's also picked up three double-doubles in that span, consisting of 47 rebounds. The Pelicans allow the fourth most rebounds in the league with 35.4 a night.
