DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Isaiah Thomas (at CHA, $7,700)

Thomas has been on fire recently, and it doesn’t look like he’s going to slow down any time soon. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 21.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 8.7 assists, and 1.0 steal in 36.2 minutes per game. He has scored 40+ fantasy points in five of his last six games, and his price still isn’t all that high. The matchup against the Hornets isn’t ideal, but Thomas is a huge part of the Celtics offense, and he should be able to take over the game tonight, as he does so often.

Tim Frazier (at NO, $3,600)

Damian Lillard has been ruled out tonight, which means Frazier should get some more run at point guard again tonight. If C.J. McCollum is also out, Frazier quickly becomes one of the best plays on the night. He’s coming off a start, in which he played 48 minutes and scored 12 points with seven rebounds, seven assists, one block, and two steals. He gets a great matchup against the Pelicans tonight, who have struggled against point guards this season. He’s extremely cheap, and he can be used in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

James Harden (at ORL, $10,600)

Harden gets a tremendous matchup against the Magic tonight, as they love pushing the pace and turning games into shootouts. They focus much more of offense than defense, which leaves spots for Harden to attack. Harden is a triple double threat for the Rockets, and he makes up the majority of their offense. He isn’t going to come cheap, but this is a huge slate, and Harden makes a good option in all leagues.

Khris Middleton (vs PHI, $5,900)

Middleton continues to be a bit underpriced, as he has been on fire recently. Over the last 10 days, Middleton is averaging 17.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He plays huge minutes for the Bucks, and his minutes are essentially guaranteed every night. He has already played well against the Sixers once this season, and they have been one of the worst defenses in the NBA on the year. Middleton is cheap enough for all leagues, as he has been playing with good consistency and he has great upside.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Gordon Hayward (at GS, $7,200)

The Warriors have a great defense, but they play so fast that it leaves opportunities for opponents to score fantasy points. They tend to give up big games to good scorers, and Hayward is should be able to score for the Jazz tonight. Aside from one blowout against the Spurs, Hayward has been dominating since the Rudy Gobert injury. He can be a four category contributor, and his price isn’t quite as high as it should be. He’s best suited for GPPs because of the matchup, but he isn’t the worst cash game play tonight, either.

Matt Barnes (at WAS, $5,700)

I’m going to continue to use Matt Barnes while he’s this cheap and it would be a bad decision to avoid him. He has been on fire, aside from one game, in which he was in foul trouble, since he was inserted into the starting lineup. He has easily been scoring over 30 fantasy points per game, which is more than enough for value at his price tag. He gets a great matchup against the Wizards, who are dealing with a plethora of injuries in their frontcourt. Barnes can be used in all leagues tonight.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Anthony Davis (vs POR, $10,300)

Davis only played 20 minutes in his last game because of an illness, so check his status before the game starts. He gets a tremendous matchup against the Blazers, who have struggled to guard big men this season. In his last game, Davis scored 27 points with six rebounds, one assist, and four blocks in only 20 minutes. He’s also averaging 50 fantasy points per game this season against the Blazers. His price isn’t very high for Anthony Davis, and he can be used in all leagues if he’s healthy.

Kenneth Faried (at PHO, $6,300)

Faried hasn’t been playing all that heavy of minutes recently, but he has been playing well in the minutes he has been given. He has tremendous upside, as he’s a great rebounder and his easy shots inside. He gets a great matchup against a fast paced Suns team tonight, although they have defended power forwards fairly well this season. Faried is a bit too risky for cash games, but he’s a great GPP option for his price tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Greg Monroe (vs PHI, $7,100)

Monroe’s minutes have been impossible to figure out, as he can play anywhere from minutes in the high-20s to the low-40s. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Sixers, who have struggled to defend anyone this season, including big men. Monroe has been a double double machine throughout his career, and he should be able to dominate the Sixers, as he did earlier in the season. His lack of consistent minutes make him best suited for tournaments, but he’s an extremely high upside play tonight.
