DraftKings DFS Point Guards

John Wall (vs CHA, $9,300)

Wall hasn’t been scoring his 50+ fantasy point games, but he is still playing well. He isn’t priced as high as Westbrook or Curry on any given night, but he does have as much upside. He gets a great matchup against the Hornets, who are a fairly slow team and Wall may be able to beat them in transition. It’s a smaller slate, and Wall is one of the safer plays with tremendous upside. He can be used in all leagues tonight.

Jeremy Lin (at WAS, $5,000)

Lin is coming off a tremendous 50.75 fantasy point game, in which he drew the start for the sick Nicholas Batum. Batum is expected back tonight, but if he is out again, Lin becomes a must start. Even if Batum plays, Lin makes a good tournament option, as he has been playing fairly big minutes, and he has great upside. Make sure to check Batum’s status before game time, and then make the decision of what games Lin can be used in.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

James Harden (vs LAC, $10,700)

Harden is the most expensive player on the slate, and for good reason. He hasn’t been playing all that well, averaging only 27.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 2.2 steals per game over the last 10 days. He gets a good matchup against the Clippers tonight, and the Rockets will continue to lean on Harden and his offense. He has a good floor, and he can be used in all leagues on the smaller slate tonight.

J.J. Redick (at HOU, $4,700)

Redick has really been playing well recently, as he is averaging 29.75 fantasy points per game over his last three games. He’s playing consistent minutes for the Clippers, and he has really been scoring well. Redick has been a streaky shooter ever since his days at Duke, and he’s riding a hot streak right now. He gets a great matchup against a fast paced Houston team tonight, and Redick makes a great play in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Carmelo Anthony (vs CHI, $8,300)

Melo’s price is still too low, as he has been dominating everyone he has faced recently. He scored 50+ fantasy points in three of his last four, and he likely would have against the Sixers had the game not been a blowout. Tonight, he gets a good matchup against the Bulls, who have really struggled against the small forward this season. The Bulls have been playing a bit faster this season, and this game should stay close. Melo can be used in all leagues.

Matt Barnes (vs IND, $5,300)

Barnes played fairly big minutes again last night after struggling with foul trouble a couple games ago. His price has stayed down because of that, but he is still starting, and gets a great matchup against the Pacers tonight. The Pacers love running small ball and pushing the pace, which will work in Barnes’ favor tonight. He has tremendous upside, but he is also fairly consistent. He can be used in all leagues.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Blake Griffin (at HOU, $8,800)

It’s tough to figure out Griffin this season, as he has a few great games, but he also has struggled at times. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Rockets, who he dominated earlier this season with 35 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists (57.25 fantasy points). This game is going to be fast paced, and the Rockets don’t have anyone that is going to be able to guard Griffin. He makes a great option on the small slate, as there are very few times his price will be under $9,000 this season.

(Note: I would really recommend using Griffin tonight, and I’m not looking at any other PF tonight on DraftKings).

DraftKings DFS Centers

DeAndre Jordan (at HOU, $6,800)

Jordan is the cheapest of the elite center options, and he’s the one I’m going with tonight. He only played 18 minutes in his last game because he was ejected, but he’ll be back to playing full minutes again tonight. He has been playing well over his last few games, averaging 11.2 points, 13.2 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, and 1.0 steal per game. He gets a great matchup against a fast paced Houston team, who he dominated earlier this season, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.
