In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 1/15/16. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Isaiah Thomas (vs PHO, $7,900)

Thomas has been playing extremely well recently, as he’s averaging 25.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.0 steal per game over the last 10 days. He has scored at least 35 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games, including two games with over 50 fantasy points. He gets a great matchup against the Suns, who love pushing the pace to games and have been the worst team in the NBA against the point guard this season. Thomas makes a great play in all leagues tonight.

George Hill (vs WAS, $5,200)

Hill is one of the most frustrating fantasy players in the NBA right now. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 36.5 minutes per game, but he’s only averaging 13.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game in that time. His low fantasy outings have kept his price fairly low, but he has flashed a bit of consistency with good upside recently. It’s rare that a player is as cheap as Hill with the amount of minutes he’s playing, which makes him a good play tonight.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Jimmy Butler (vs DAL, $8,700)

Butler has been on fire recently, as he has scored 40+ fantasy points in nine consecutive games, including his ridiculous 81 fantasy point game last night. He’s a significantly better player with Derrick Rose out, and if he’s forced to miss tonight’s game, Butler should be used in all leagues. He gets a good matchup against the Mavs, who have struggled at times defensively, and Butler can be used in all leagues tonight.

Devin Booker (at BOS, $5,100)

Booker is the youngest player in the NBA, but he has quickly figured it out while playing big minutes for an injured Eric Bledsoe. He’s an elite scorer, but he also is athletic enough to add peripheral stats. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 15.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He gets somewhat of a tough matchup against the Celtics, but he has tremendous upside if he catches fire early in a game, and he’s also fairly consistent because of his low price tag.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Danilo Gallinari (vs MIA, $7,200)

Gallinari recently returned from injury, and he has been playing well. Over the last 10 days, he has scored 26.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. He has scored 35+ fantasy points in six consecutive games, which is right around value. He gets a good matchup against the Heat, who have struggled at times on defense, and Gallinari is the focal point of the Nuggets offense. He can be used in all leagues tonight.

Chandler Parsons (at CHI, $5,400)

Parsons has flashed great upside when the Mavs opt to rest their starters, but he has somewhat struggled when the team is healthy. The team will be healthy tonight, but he gets a great matchup against the Bulls, who he dominated for 37 fantasy points earlier this season. Parsons has been extremely hit or miss, but his talent level is much higher than where his price suggests it is at, and he’s playing big minutes each night. He isn’t safe enough for cash games, but he’s a great option for tournaments because of his great upside.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Chris Bosh (at DEN, $7,800)

Bosh has really been playing well recently, aside from one game in which he struggled. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 20.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. He gets a great matchup against the Nuggets, who love pushing the pace, which will give Bosh a few extra opportunities tonight. He isn’t quite priced as high as some of the other options, but he has great upside and comes with good consistency, as well. Bosh can be used in all leagues tonight.

Amir Johnson (vs PHO, $5,400)

Johnson dominated in his last game, and I’m going back to the well here. He’s coming off a huge game, in which he scored 14 points with 18 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals. He has been playing extremely well recently, and he a great matchup against the Suns, who are a fast paced team who have really struggled on defense. Johnson comes with a fairly low price tag, and he makes a good option in all leagues tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Dwight Howard (vs CLE, $7,400)

Howard gets somewhat of a tough matchup tonight, but he’s entirely too cheap not to use. Over the last 10 days, he is averaging 17.3 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game. Howard has scored 50+ fantasy points in in three of his last seven games, and his price just hasn’t caught up to his production yet. He can be used in all leagues tonight.
