Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 1/13/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings NBA DFS lineups.

There are a plethora of elite point guards in the NBA, including Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry, but everyone seems to overlook Damian Lillard a bit. He has been on fire, and his price has yet to reach $10,000. He's the leader of his team, and it's about time DraftKings shows him some respect!

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 1/13/16. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Damian Lillard (vs UTA, $9,200)

Lillard gets a bit overlooked because of other options at point guard, such as Westbrook and Curry, but he also has tremendous upside. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 27.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. He has scored 57.75 and 69.75 fantasy points in his last two games, and he gets a matchup against the Jazz, who he already has dominated this season. Utah will likely try to slow the game down, but Lillard is going to push the pace, and he has been consistent enough for all leagues tonight.

Emmanuel Mudiay (vs GS, $5,400)

It’s tough to get a gauge on Mudiay because he returned to action on Sunday, but Jameer Nelson didn’t play in that game. Mudiay recorded 11 points, four rebounds, six assists, a block, and two steals in 39 minutes in that game. It’s unlikely that he’ll play 39 minutes again with Nelson returning tonight, but he could see 30 minutes, which would be more than enough time for him to hit value. This game should be played at a lightning fast pace, and Mudiay makes a great GPP option, but his unknown minutes make him a bit too risky for cash games.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

Klay Thompson (at DEN, $8,200)

Thompson has been scoring well for the Warriors, although he has taken a bit of a backseat over the last two games. Tonight, the Warriors may opt to bench a couple of their players for rest, including Draymond Green, which would make Thompson a bigger part of the offense. He has also been rebounding and assisting the ball, as he’s averaging 26.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game over the last 10 days. This is an easy matchup for Thompson, and he can be used in all leagues.

Khris Middleton (at WAS, $6,800)

Middleton certainly comes with a bit of risk because he relies so heavily on scoring, but he’s guaranteed big minutes, and he is going to take around 20 shots every night. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 21.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. He gets a good matchup against the Wizards, who have been one of the worst teams in the NBA against the shooting guard. Middleton changes positions throughout the game, but he makes a great GPP option because of his scoring ability.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Rudy Gay (vs NO, $6,900)

Gay has been playing much better recently, as he’s averaging 20.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.4 steals per game over the last 10 days. He has taken at least 16 shots in each of his last three games, and he scored 42.75, 34.5, and 41.25 fantasy points in those games. He gets a great matchup against a fast paced Pelicans team, who have struggled defensively this season. Gay isn’t going to break your salary cap, but he does have great upside.

Otto Porter Jr. (vs MIL, $6,700)

Porter has gotten his chance to start and be a big part of the offense this season, and he has flourished. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 14.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. He has scored 30+ fantasy points in each of his last four games, and he even recently scored 50.25 fantasy points in a game. It looks like Marcin Gortat could be out tonight, which means Porter could see a few extra rebounds. He’s safe enough for all leagues tonight.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Kristaps Porzingis (at BKN, $7,000)

Porzingis stated before the draft that his favorite part about the NBA is that he would have a gym that he could practice in every day. Well, he must be putting in the extra time because he has continuously gotten better and better as the season progresses. Last night, he scored a ridiculous 28 fantasy points in the first quarter alone, which is nearly value for his price tag. He gets a great matchup against the Nets, who have been awful against the power forward this season, and Porzingis makes a great play for his price tonight.

Amir Johnson (vs IND, $4,900)

Johnson has surprisingly been playing well for his price recently. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 12.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game. His minutes tend to fluctuate each night, which is a bit worrisome, but he could provide great value tonight. He gets a good matchup against the Pacers, who are playing at a much faster pace. Amir Johnson makes a great option in GPPs tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Dwight Howard (vs MIN, $7,300) – It is amazing that Howard is priced this low tonight. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging a ridiculous 19.7 points, 14.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steal per game, including three games with 50+ fantasy points in his last five games. He gets a great matchup against the Wolves tonight, who have struggled against the center, Howard can be used in all leagues tonight.
