DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (9/20/18): MLB DFS Lineups

We've got just one slate on DraftKings tonight, but covers seven games being played, giving us lots of different lineup possibilities.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/20/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TroyKlauder.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Matt Boyd - P, vs KC ($9,400)

Boyd has been awesome over the last month, striking out 34 batters in 30 1/3 innings with a 3.26 ERA. His success should continue against a weak Royals lineup that has just a .287 wOBA against left-handed pitchers. As the Tigers aren't a contender, they don't have to worry about limiting their starting pitchers' innings for the playoffs, so Boyd should be able to work deep into this game.

Kevin Gausman - P, vs PHI ($7,900)

Gausman was roughed up in each of his last two starts, but they were against some pretty tough lineups in the Nationals and Diamondbacks. Before those outings, he hadn't given up more than three earned runs in a single start as a member of the Braves. The Phillies are a great matchup for Gausman, as their lineup has been struggling in September and they've got the third-highest K-rate against righties at 24.9%.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Yonder Alonso - 1B, vs CWS ($4,200)

Alonso has lots of power potential against James Shields, who has a 1.45 HR/9 and a 4.95 FIP this year. Most of the Indians bats are understandably expensive against Shields, so Alonso provides an opportunity for a lower-priced play against him. Alonso should rack up some RBIs in the loaded Indians lineup.

Yoan Moncada - 2B, at CLE ($4,100)

Moncada is an awesome spot leading off for the White Sox, where he will maximize his plate appearances and have lots of chances to score. Indians starter Josh Tomlin has a horrific 7.62 FIP this season, so I'd suggest you pair Moncada with some of his teammates.

Matt Duffy - 3B, at TOR ($3,900)

Duffy has quietly put together a strong last 30 days, batting .342 with an .835 OPS. He should be batting second for the Rays in an extreme hitter's park in Toronto. The Rays are another lineup you could look to stack against Sam Gaviglio, owner of a 5.25 ERA.

Trea Turner - SS, vs NYM ($4,700)

If you've got room in your payroll for a more expensive bat, consider Turner at shortstop. He's had an electric season for fantasy owners, stealing 40 bags with 17 homers and 94 runs. Even on days where he isn't hitting well, his speed gives him a very high floor, and he's got a fantastic matchup against Jason Vargas.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Scott Schebler - OF, at MIA ($4,400)

When we're this late into the season, there are a ton of weak starting pitchers to prey on. Jeff Brigham of the Marlins is a perfect example, as he's got a 7.36 ERA through two starts this year. Schebler has a good power, with 17 homers in less than 400 plate appearances, and bats leadoff for the Reds.

Christin Stewart - OF, vs KC ($3,900)

Stewart has yet to show anything at the major league level, but he still bats second for the Tigers, so the potential for a strong game exists. Stewart posted a 138 wRC+ in triple-A this year and is probably off-the-radar for most fantasy players.
