Today's Weather

The Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers will face a stiff 10-13 mph wind blowing across the diamond from first to third base. Wind will also be the story again at Wrigley Field, as the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs see a jetstream blowing to straightaway center field at 13-16 mph. The Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins will also expect a 10-13 mph wind blowing straight out to center. The Colorado Rockies and San Francisco Giants will face a win from 11-14 mph blowing out to center field, too.

In Beantown, precipitation is in the forecast for the Chicago White Sox-Boston Red Sox battle, starting out at 60 percent, before tapering off to 40 percent by 10 p.m. ET. The game should still be played to its completion, but a lengthy delay wouldn't be shocking.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Jake Arrieta - P, PHI vs. NYM ($7,600)

Arrieta hasn't been terribly consistent this season, thus the lower price tag. But he is a respectable 4-2 with a 4.09 ERA and 1.39 WHIP across 44 innings at home, and he has an ultra-favorable matchup against the very shaky RHP Walker Lockett.

Zach Davies - P, MIL vs. SEA ($6,500)

Davies heads into this one with a 7-1 record and 3.06 ERA overall, and he is 4-0 with a 3.13 ERA across 31 2/3 innings at home. He splits are night and day, too - literally. In day performances, he has  4.06 ERA across 44 1/3 innings, and he has a 1.89 ERA across 38 innings under the lights.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Yasmani Grandal - C, MIL vs. SEA ($4,900)

Grandal has rolled up 27 extra-base hits across 241 at-bats, including 17 home runs, so he is one of the best offensive options among the backstops. He'll be facing LHP Marco Gonzales, and he has managed 12 runs scored and XBH in just 74 at-bats against left-handed pitching, too.

Josh Bell - 1B, PIT at HOU ($4,600)

Bell has the fourth-most home runs (20) among all first basemen, yet he is $1000 cheaper than the most expensive option on the board, New York Mets 1B Peter Alonso ($5,600). Bell has a ridiculous 48 extra-base hits overall, too.

Ozzie Albies - 2B, ATL at CHC ($4,400)

Albies has a lower price tag, but he is a nice addition to a DFS lineup, especially with a stiff wind blowing out to straightaway center field. He'll be facing the young RHP Adbert Alzolay has 14 doubles, two triples and seven homers across 238 at-bats vs. RHP.

Nolan Arenado - 3B, COL at SF ($4,700)

Arenado is tied for the ninth cheapest DFS option at the hot corner, and that makes him worth using across the board. He'll face RHP Madison Bumgarner, who is just 3-7 overall this season. These two have a lengthy history, too, with Arenado going 13-for-52 (.250) with four doubles, two homers and four RBI. Those numbers are just so-so, but he will benefit from a stiff 10-13 mph wind blowing out to straightaway center field.

Kevin Newman - SS/2B, PIT at HOU ($3,700)

Newman has hit safely in 14 consecutive games dating back to June 6, hitting .349 (22-for-63) with eight runs scored and eight RBI to raise his average from .294 to .314. He has managed five multi-hit games over his past 11 outings, too, so he's not just scraping by.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Alex Dickerson - OF, SF vs. COL ($3,800)

If you're looking for a low-cost option so you have more salary to spread across the other positions, consider Dickerson. The newcomer to the Giants has driven in nine runs over the past seven days, meeting or exceeding DFS salary expectation every day lately. He'll be facing RHP Chi Chi Rodriguez, who is coming back from Tommy John surgery.

Chris Taylor - OF/2B, LAD at ARI ($4,000)

Taylor has been red-hot lately, going 11-for-24 (.458) with three doubles and three home runs with 11 RBI across the past seven days, posting a ridiculous 1.458 OPS. He'll look to keep it going against LHP Robbie Ray. He is hitting .280 with six homers in 93 at-bats against southpaws, and .218 with just two homers in 119 at-bats vs. RHP. Taylor can also be used at the keystone, too.
