DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (9/1/16): MLB DFS Advice

This is an odd slate. There are only four games, one of which is early. The positive to take away from this is that DraftKings allows for late player swap, something that FanDuel users are going to cry over tomorrow.

There are some valuable options tonight, so read on to discover who those players are.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/1/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

New York Mets

The New York Mets have been incredible over their last few games, as players like Wilmer Flores, Jose Reyes, and Asdrubal Cabrera are really starting to find their zone at the plate. Tonight, against the Miami Marlins and Jose Urena, the Mets should score quite a few runs. Stacking them on DraftKings is a very easy decision.

San Francisco Giants

The San Francisco Giants have a couple of hitters that are just now starting to find their groove at the plate. Some of these hitters include Joe Panik and Hunter Pence, who great plays tonight. Mike Montgomery is not going to pitch past the fifth or sixth inning, if that, and the Giants will take advantage of the Cubs' bullpen.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Jose Quintana ($10,700)

Jose Quintana is obviously the best pitcher on the board tonight. He gets a great matchup against the Minnesota Twins, and he has been very consistent all season long. He currently has a positive record, an ERA under three, and a solid K-rate. In his last four starts, he has over 20 fantasy points in three of them. He is worth his price tag.

Mike Foltynewicz ($10,000)

Mike Foltynewicz gets a solid matchup tonight against the San Diego Padres, and he should be able to take advantage. He has been better for the Braves over his last few games, bringing his ERA down to 4.70, his record up to 7-5, and his strikeouts up to 89 per 102.2 innings pitched. With over 25 fantasy points in his last start, he is worth consideration tonight on a terrible four-game slate.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C) - Tyler Flowers ($3,600)

Tyler Flowers has been crushing the ball of recent, bringing his batting average to .344 over his last 10 games. He has five RBIs and seven walks in that time period, showing his patience at the plate. He can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments tonight against the San Diego Padres and Jarred Cosart.

First Base (1B) - Wilmer Flores ($4,200)

The New York Mets are the key to success tonight on DraftKings. Wilmer Flores is hitting over .340 in his last 10 games with two home runs and double-digit RBIs. He has a ton of power and upside, and his price tag is reasonable. Use him, and a bunch of other Mets, tonight without hesitation.

Second Base (2B) - Joe Panik ($4,900)

Joe Panik started the season off hot, before falling victim to a couple of injuries and a huge slump. It looks like he has finally broken out of the slump, as he is hitting .333 over his last 10 games with over 11 fantasy points per game on average. He has shown solid power for a second baseman as well. Use him in all formats.

Shortstop (SS) - Asdrubal Cabrera ($4,700)

So, back to the New York Mets. Asdrubal Cabrera is the best hitter on the team over his last 10 games, hitting over .450. He is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down, so fire him up in all formats. He is well worth that high price tag.

Third Base (3B) - Jose Reyes ($4,400)

The only way to get Wilmer Flores, Asdrubal Cabrera, and Jose Reyes is to start them in the positions that are recommended on this cheat sheet. Flores is eligible at third base and first base. Reyes is eligible at shortstop and third base. Play Flores at first base, Cabrera at shortstop, and Reyes at third. It is worth it, especially with Reyes hitting almost .350 over his last 10 games.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Ender Inciarte ($4,800)

Ender Inciarte is one of the best hitters on the board tonight, and he gets a great matchup against the Padres and Cosart. He is hitting over .400 in his last 10 games, and he is almost guaranteed to pick up a hit tonight. If the money is there, spend it.

Jace Peterson ($4,000)

Jace Peterson has been hitting the ball extremely well of recent. He gets a great matchup against the San Diego Padres, and he should be able to take advantage. With a batting average closer to .400 than .300 over his last 10 games, he is worth consideration in all formats.
