Justin Bales highlights the top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for 8/30/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings MLB DFS lineups.

It's always a fun night when Max Scherzer is on the mound, especially against a team with a weak offense like the Phillies. Let's set his strikeouts at 10 tonight. Who is going over and who is going under?

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 8/30/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings. Well, let's get down to it!

Editor's Note: Purchase a full season NFL Premium Pass (including Draft Kit + DFS Premium), and also get MLB Premium + DFS for free through October. Premium DFS lineup picks, expert lineups, tools and more - seven days a week. You can see screenshots of our NFL Premium and MLB Premium and DFS tools. What are you waiting for?

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Los Angeles DodgersThe Dodgers have been an elite offense in limited games in Colorado this season. They get a good matchup against Anderson, and the Dodgers have tremendous upside. They are -150 favorites in a game set at 11 runs, and they can be stacked in all leagues.

Detroit TigersThe Tigers have been heating up a bit recently, and they have been a good offense at home this season. They get a great matchup against Ranaudo, who has a 9.61 ERA this season. The Tigers are -200 favorites in a game set at 10 runs, and they can be used in all leagues.

Colorado RockiesYou should never be afraid to use the underdog in a game in Coors. The Rockies get a tough matchup against Rich Hill, and they are the underdogs. Still, this game will feature a ton of runs, and the Rockies have loads of power. They are an elite stacking option in tournaments.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Max Scherzer - Scherzer is always a great option because of his elite strikeout rate. He has a 14-7 record with a 2.92 ERA this season, as well. He gets a great matchup against the Phillies, who have looked awful this season. Scherzer can be used in all leagues tonight.

Julio TeheranTeheran has been struggling a bit recently, but he has been enjoying a great season. He gets a good matchup against the Padres, who have struggled, and Teheran is a -165 favorite in a game set at 8 runs. He's best suited for GPPs tonight, though.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Gary SanchezSanchez's price tag is getting extremely high, but he has been as hot as anyone in the MLB recently. He's hitting nearly .500 in his last 10 games with elite power and upside. He gets a good matchup against Volquez, and he can be used in all leagues.

First Base (1B)

Albert PujolsPujols has been playing well recently, as he's hitting over .350 with decent power over his last 10 games. He gets a good matchup against Adleman, and Pujols has been a better hitter at home this season. He has been playing well enough for all leagues tonight.

Second Base (2B)

D.J. LeMahieu - LeMahieu is too hot to avoid tonight. He's hitting nearly .500 in his last 10 games, and he's hitting .400 at home this season. He has also been a better hitter against left-handed pitching throughout his career, and he can be used in all leagues.

Shortstop (SS)

Greg Garcia - Garcia has been playing well recently, as he's hitting over .350 over his last 10 games. He doesn't have great power, but he does possess decent upside for his price tag. He gets a great matchup against Peralta, and Garcia can be used in all leagues.

Third Base (3B)

Jose ReyesReyes has been playing well for the Mets recently, although he hasn't been all that consistent. He comes with good upside, and he gets a great matchup against Koehler tonight. Reyes is best suited for GPPs, although he isn't the worst cash game play, either.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Trea TurnerTurner is always a good fantasy option. He has been on fire since joining the Nationals, and he gets a great matchup against Eickhoff in a hitter friendly stadium. He isn't going to come cheap, but he can be used in all leagues.

Kike Hernandez - Hernandez can be used whenever the Dodgers are facing a left-handed pitcher. He has hit lefties well in his career, and his platoon status keeps his price down. He can be used in all leagues, as a bit of a discounted player in Coors tonight.

Scott ScheblerSchebler is entirely too cheap on DraftKings tonight. He has been on fire recently, as he's hitting over .300 with good power over his last 10 games. He isn't all that consistent of an option, but he does come with elite upside. He gets a good matchup against Weaver, and he's a great GPP option.
