DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (8/25/16): MLB DFS Advice

It is a fairly small slate tonight, so the fantasy options are limited. It takes a special kind of skill to find the value plays on a limited slate. Either that, or you can read this column.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 8/25/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings.

Editor's Note: Purchase a full season NFL Premium Pass (including Draft Kit + DFS Premium), and also get MLB Premium + DFS for free through October. Premium DFS lineup picks, expert lineups, tools and more - seven days a week. You can see screenshots of our NFL Premium and MLB Premium and DFS tools. What are you waiting for?

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks are playing at home tonight against the Atlanta Braves, who will have Matt Wisler on the mound. Wisler has struggled all season, and the Diamondbacks have huge upside at home. Use them in tournaments.

Washington Nationals

The Washington Nationals are one of the best hitting teams in the league, and they should have no issues hitting the cover off the ball tonight against the Baltimore Orioles and Ubaldo Jimenez. The entire team in worth consideration in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Toronto Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays are really starting to heat up. Troy Tulowitzki and Russell Martin are essentially unstoppable right now. With Jered Weaver on the mound for the Los Angeles Angels, the scoreboard should be lighting up all night long.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

J.A. Happ

J.A. Happ is the best pitcher on the board as far as 50/50 contests are concerned. He gets a great matchup against the terrible Los Angeles Angels' offense, and he should have little problem setting them down in order. Use him in front of Max Scherzer, who gets a tough matchup against the Baltimore Orioles.

Cole Hamels

Cole Hamels makes for a tournament tournament option tonight. He has been great all season long with an ERA under three, but he gets a tough matchup tonight against the Cleveland Indians in Texas. It is easy to hit the ball in Texas, and the Indians have a great offense, but Hamels price tag is down, and he has 30 plus fantasy point upside.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C) - Yadier Molina

Yadier Molina is hitting around .300 over his last 10 games, and he gets a great matchup against the New York Mets and Seth Lugo. There should be plenty of RBI opportunities for him tonight.

First Base (1B) - Ryan Zimmerman

Ryan Zimmerman is starting to heat up for the Washington Nationals, making him a great play in both 50/50 contests and tournaments tonight against the Baltimore Orioles and Ubaldo Jimenez. He is hitting around .300 in his last 10 games, so use him in all formats.

Second Base (2B) - Jean Segura

His price tag is definitely a little bit high tonight, but he is worth every penny. He gets a great matchup against Matt Wisler and the Atlanta Braves in hitter-friendly Arizona, and over his last 10 games, he is hitting over .400. Use him in all formats, if the salary cap is available.

Shortstop (SS) - Troy Tulowitzki

As previously mentioned, Troy Tulowitzki is finally proving that he can hit outside of Coors Field. He should continue to hit well tonight against Jered Weaver and the Los Angeles Angels. Use him in all formats, especially tournaments due to his power and upside.

Third Base (3B) - Adrian Beltre

Adrian Beltre has been great of recent, and he gets a solid matchup against the Cleveland Indians and Josh Tomlin tonight. Tomlin has been struggling of recent, and the entire Texas Rangers' team should take advantage.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Denard Span

Denard Span has been crushing the ball of recent, posting over 10 fantasy points per game over his last 10 games. He has three home runs and nine RBIs during that time span. With that kind of power and his ability to steal bases, he is clearly a great option in tournaments against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Michael Bourn

Michael Bourn's price tag is right around where it should be tonight. He is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games, which means that he is getting on base. When he gets on base, he can steal second. That increases his upside tonight against the Atlanta Braves. Use him in tournaments.
