NBA DFS Matchup Rankings

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Kevin Huerter, vs. GSW (FD: $5,500, DK: $5,400)

When I say there's no value on the slate today, I mean it with all my heart. The best we can do in this situation is adjust to what the slate is giving us, and in my opinion, that means shifting to more of a balanced build that includes a few mid-range "value" plays from the Kings alongside one stud in Sabonis. Huerter qualifies for value today as he's affordable and playing starter minutes in what projects as the top matchup on the board against the Warriors due to its high implied total and fast projected pace. Huerter should provide a solid floor in this one, and he has the potential to be the most important piece on the slate, as he can hit the 40-50+ DK point range when his shot is falling.

Darius Garland, vs. NYK (FD: $$7,500, DK: $7,700)

The Cavs have the second-best matchup on the slate for point guards, which does feel odd, as they're facing a stout defense in the Knicks today. The Knicks allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this year, and they allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to the position over their last 15 games. Notably, they allow the fourth-most points and the most three-pointers made per game to the position, both areas where Garland can excel. Best of all, he's affordable for a stud on a slate with no value, so we'll need to hit on players in his salary range to succeed today.

Also consider (in order): De'Aaron Fox, Spencer Dinwiddie, James Harden, Jaylen Brown, Derrick White

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Al Horford, vs. ATL (FD: $5,700, DK: $5,700)

Don't sleep on Big Al today. The 36-year-old five-time All-Star had a late-season surge and averaged 30.1 DK points per game over his last ten games. He also exploded for games of 57 and 46.75 DK points at the beginning of March, which isn't going to be what we're shooting for out of the big man in this one. He's cheap on a slate with no value, though, and the Hawks are the best matchup for targeting power forwards. This season, they allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the position, particularly struggling in the areas where Horford contributes: points and rebounds.

Keegan Murray, vs. GSW (FD: $4,800) FanDuel Only

We can't play Murray at $6,000 on DraftKings, but the rookie is plenty viable on FanDuel tonight. He typically plays around 30 minutes and averaged 22.7 FD points per game during the regular season, slightly less than the 24 FD points he needs to hit 5x value on FanDuel tonight. The Warriors don't deploy a typical center and struggle badly at defending the position, and while Murray plays power forward, I think it stands to reason that Golden State will be focusing on trying to slow down Domantas Sabonis as much as they can. That should free up Murray to do what he does: score and contribute enough everywhere else to be useful today.

Also consider (in order): Jayson Tatum, Evan Mobley, Cameron Johnson, Draymond Green, Tobias Harris

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Domantas Sabonis, vs. GSW (FD: $9,800, DK: $10,100)

Sabonis will likely receive down-ballot votes for MVP this year and for good reason. The big man averaged 19.1/12.3/7.3/0.5/0.8 while shooting 62% from the field and 37% from three this season. Plus, he led the Kings to the #3 seed in the West in a year many predicted them to remain a fringe playoff team. He doesn't flash as many ceiling games as the studs on the slate, but he's as consistent as they come and gets the top matchup on the board for centers today. The Warriors allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing centers this season, and it makes sense that they'd struggle against traditional bigs as they roll out the too-small Draymond Green and the subpar-defense Kevon Looney at the position. He put up 66.5 DK points in one of his best games of the season the last time these two teams met. Sabonis is a great play on this slate, especially if he's projected to be unpopular.

Also consider (in order): Joel Embiid, Jarrett Allen, Al Horford, Robert Williams, Nic Claxton
