DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/27/22): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 27th, 2022. Kyle Ringstad provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have six games lined up for the NBA main slate tonight and while there aren't any "premier" matchups, we have plenty of exciting spots to target with our DFS lineups. The Cavaliers, Grizzlies, and Celtics are the teams in the most favorable environments for daily fantasy production. We already got the news that Boston's superstar Jayson Tatum won't be active tonight, and this (obviously) frees up a lot of usage and value with the C's rotation. As always, watch for injury news as the day rolls along. We shouldn't see too many wonky scratches, though, as the Mavericks are the only team playing in the second half of a back-to-back set.

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 11/27/22. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s NBA injury news and also our full NBA injury report today to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Shake Milton, vs. ORL (FD: $7,000, DK: $6,600)

Unsurprisingly, Milton sees considerable boosts with Embiid, Harden, Maxey, and Thybulle off the floor. His usage rate jumps to 21.8% and his FPTS/min rate shoots up to 1.15 in the split, which we want to take advantage of at his modest pricing and huge minutes projection. He's averaging 39 minutes and 42.5 DK points per game over his last four games, so it's reasonable to expect him to play around 39 minutes again tonight. That would mean he's projected to score 44.85 DK points, which would be well over what is needed to hit 5x value. The Magic defend guards well, but this is an opportunity play that I don't want to miss out on.

Malcolm Brogdon, Marcus Smart, Derrick White, vs. WSH

Jayson Tatum, Robert Williams III, and Danilo Gallinari have been ruled out for tonight's matchup, meaning there will be plenty of usage and fantasy production available for everyone else in the C's rotation. Getting to a mix of all three of these guards makes a ton of sense as they all see boosts with the trio mentioned above off the floor, and they're priced for their roles with Tatum active and hogging all the usage and production. I'd prioritize Brogdon first on both sites as he sees the biggest jump in usage rate (to 28.9%), but all three are firmly in play.

Also consider: Jrue Holiday (DK), De'Anthony Melton, Jalen Brunson, Luka Doncic, Caleb Martin (FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jaylen Brown, vs. WSH (FD: $8,500, DK: $8,500)

You're playing Jaylen Brown when Tatum is out of the lineup - simple. He's priced for Tatum being active and it's our job to pounce on that situation. He easily paces the team in usage rate (37.3%) and FPTS/min (1.39) with Tatum, Gallinari, and Robert Williams III off the floor this season, and it's not unreasonable to expect him to finish with close to (or more than) 50 DK points tonight. Both teams play at a snail-slow pace and rank well defensively, but Vegas is projecting the game to be high-scoring as it currently holds the second-highest total on the slate at a 224.5-point implied total. Don't pass up on the opportunity here.

Deni Avdija, vs. BOS (FD: $4,400, DK: $4,800)

Deni has been balling lately, scoring at least 31.25 DK points in his last three games and spiking for 44.25 DK points on 11/23. He's a great value piece in a game that should be one of the better fantasy environments on the slate. However, his projection would take a little hit if Rui Hachimura makes his return to action tonight, so keep an eye on that and adjust accordingly.

Also consider: Grant Williams, Sam Hauser, Tobias Harris, RJ Barrett

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Montrezl Harrell, vs. ORL (FD: $4,900, DK: $4,600)

Harrell isn't the most exciting piece in the world, but he's cheap as hell and projects to exceed his salary-based expectations once again tonight. He has stepped up in the last two games minus Embiid, scoring 24.5 and 25.75 DK points while playing 28 and 22 minutes, respectively. It's reasonable to expect him to play between 22 and 28 minutes tonight, which puts him on track to hit 5x value at his 1.00 FPTS/min rate. The Magic have allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing centers this season.

Also consider: Al Horford, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley (core if Jarrett Allen is out), Steven Adams, Paul Reed
