DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (11/3/22): MLB DFS Lineups

J.T. Realmuto - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/3/22. Mike Marteny's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

And then there were two. We have made it to the pinnacle of a baseball season that some thought may never happen. It has been a wild season and now it's the Phillies and Astros for the World Series title. The series is tied at two as we phinish up in Philly tonight. Are you ready?

For showdown mode on DraftKings, we pick one captain who costs 1.5x his normal salary, but he also scores 1.5x the points. We must have at least one player from each team and relievers are fair game if you think you have a bead on which relievers will be used. On FanDuel, the format is a bit different. No player salaries are multiplied, but you get one MVP who scores double points and one start that scores 1.5x points along with three utility slots. Oh...and it's only hitters.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/3/22. The lineup will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. It’s also important to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups. If you have any questions or comments, contact me on Twitter.

MLB DFS Captain Options

Kyle Tucker ($13,500 DK; $8,000 FD)

Tucker smashed two homers in Game 1 of the World Series and gets another right-handed pitcher in Game 5. Syndergaard hasn't pitched since 1.1 innings of relief in the NLCS on October 22. He has been mostly effective in 5.1 innings of post-season pitching, but I don't trust it. Tucker has arguably had the best World Series of anyone so far. He's the pay-up spot on the Astros.

J.T. Realmuto ($11,400 DK; $7,500 FD )

Realmuto drove in three of the six runs in Game 1, including the big two-run double off of Justin Verlander. Verlander has had two poor starts in three playoff outings, so I'm fine going after him again. Don't worry...I'm going after Thor too. Game 5 is the game of the hitters!

Star/MVP options: Bryce Harper ($9,500), Jeremy Pena ($6,500)

DraftKings/FanDuel DFS Utility Options

Along with the others I consider for the captain slot, these can be good utility plays as well.

Bryce Harper ($9,600 DK; $9,500 FD)

Harper has cooled off a touch in the World Series, but he is still 3-for-14 with a homer, two RBI, and a steal in the four games. He had two hits off of Verlander in Game 1, so I'm inclined to pay up for Harper again. I'll run Realmuto as the captain so I can cram a couple more stars in there.

Alex Bregman ($8,800 DK; $7,000 FD)

Bregman is only 3-for-16 in the series, but all hits are for extra bases and he has driven in four runs. I'm chasing those crooked numbers in GPP formats. In cash, I'll use Jeremy Pena, but for GPPs, I want the upside of Bregman.

Alec Bohm ($7,800 DK; $6,000 FD)

Bohm drew the collar last night, but he drove in two runs in Game 1 and had three RBI in the first three games of the series. Bohm is a cheap way to get exposure to the Phillies. I don't trust Verlander right now. If he didn't have a dud against Seattle, I wouldn't put as much stock into Game 1, but that's two bad starts out of the last three. I will have one Phillies-heavy lineup tonight.

Other Options: Kyle Schwarber ($9,400 DK; $8,500 FD); Rhys Hoskins ($8,000 DK; $7,000 FD); Yuli Gurriel ($7,200 DK; $5,500 FD)
