Week 13 Fantasy Football DST Outlooks and Rankings Analysis

A new feature has been added to our weekly fantasy football rankings article. Below, you will find our fantasy football outlooks for key options in Week 13, which gives readers a matchup preview of that player and advice on whether to start or avoid for the upcoming week. We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.

Los Angeles Chargers DST
Week 13 Defense Rank: 7

The Los Angeles Chargers defense is back on the streaming list for a Week 13 game against the New England Patriots. The Chargers have been struggling on defense of late, finishing 23rd or worse in each of the past three weeks.

They get to face a Patriots offense that is cycling between Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe and not moving the ball well at all. Given the matchup, they're much more of a safe pick with a little upside than they are most weeks.

Seattle Seahawks DST
Week 13 Defense Rank: 24

On Thanksgiving night against the San Francisco 49ers, the Seattle Seahawks were trounced 31-13. It was the fourth time this season that Seattle gave up 30 or more points. A pick-six courtesy of linebacker Jordyn Brooks salvaged the unit's showing on fantasy rosters for anyone bold or desperate enough to start them against one of the NFL's hottest offenses.

Week 13 poses a similar threat as the Seahawks take on the Dallas Cowboys in another Thursday night game. The Cowboys lead the league in points scored per game (31.5) and Dak Prescott has been lights out lately having thrown for 1,602 yards and 17 touchdowns with only two interceptions in the last five weeks. Even with six teams on bye, Seattle's defense is not worth the risk in the first game of Week 13.

Dallas Cowboys DST
Week 13 Defense Rank: 4

The Dallas Cowboys' defense has been one of the top fantasy defenses this season, and Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks should give them another chance to shine on Thursday Night Football. The Cowboys DST has been a top-10 fantasy option in four of the past five weeks and a top-three option for two weeks in a row. \

The Seahawks offense is a bit more formidable than the two the Cowboys have faced in the past two weeks, but they're certainly not scaring off any fantasy teams opposing them. Start the Cowboys with confidence as a top-half DST1 this week.
