Real Talk Raph's Riches: Fantasy Baseball Daily League Analysis (June 7, 2013)

Click here to read the best sit-start analysis on choosing your salary cap team and setting your lineup in Daily Fantasy Baseball Leagues for June 7, 2013.

Please note that as I sit to write this at 1:00 PM ET, MLB has already postponed two games due to weather (MIN vs. WAS and LAA vs. BOS), and we expect the NYM vs. MIA to be rained out as well based on the current weather patterns in NYC.

Strong Daily League Pitching Options for June 7, 2013:

Hiroki Kuroda on May 22, 2013SP - Hiroki Kuroda ($6,700) - Kuroda is routinely undervalued on most daily league sites, and for no good reason at all.  He has been borderline dominant so far in 2013. and is taking the mound against the offensively anemic Mariners in their pitcher-friendly confines this evening.  If that is not enough to convince you, please note that the opposing pitcher is none other than former Tigers great Jeremy Bonderman.  Enough said!

SP - James Shields ($7,900) - Just in case you hate the Yankees or need to start two pitchers in your format, we also like James Shields tonight against the strikeout-happy Houston Astros.  He costs $1,300 more than Kuroda and that is why he is not #1 on our list for today, but he can easily go 8-9 innings and strike out 7-8 batters.  If he gets the Win, that's should be a strong enough performance to earn you some cheddar tonight.

Hitters to Target for June 7, 2013:

1B - Travis Hafner ($3,300) - We are giving you the cheapo option for success as first base for tonight.  Obviously, feel free to go blow your wad on Chris Davis ($5,900) or Paul Goldschmidt ($5,200) as they are great options, but you may find yourself running out of bucks when you get to your outfielders.  Hafner has racked up 15.25 points in the past three games he has played and he is facing the longball-prone Jeremy Bonderman, who is fighting to reclaim his career on the major-league level.

3B - Evan Longoria ($3,600) - Anytime you see Longo's price tag dip well below the $4K mark, you'd better be pouncing all over that in daily league play!  This manchild can bust out of a slump any day of the week against any pitcher, and all you need is one good night to cash out on Evan Longoria's bat.  Get him in against the weak Jason Hammels and hope he gives you a vintage performance.

SS - Didi Gregorius ($2,900) - You'd be a fool to run out any other SS today for a higher price when Didi Gregorius is batting a smooth .370 with 4 HR and 14 RBI against righties so far in 2013.  Couple that with his .321 overall batting average and you have yourself a bona fide righty killer who is way underpriced.  Leave the J.J. Hardys and Jean Seguras on the bench today and get your dough with Didi.

OF - Ryan Braun (3,800) - It should be illegal for Braun's price tag to be this low, especially against a left-handed pitcher! Forget the analysis and doubts you may have about him, if he is in the Brewers lineup tonight, he better be in yours.

As always, remember to check your daily lineups before they lock and make sure you are doing your own research, too, for optimal performance! The most successful daily leaguers are grinders who are constantly tweaking their lineups as the day goes on and fantasy news gets released. Good luck today, RotoBallers!
