Daily Fantasy NBA Lineup Picks for FanDuel (12/15/16) - DFS Basketball Advice

There are only five games tonight, starting an hour later than usual. Be sure to double-check prior to tip off at 8:00 PM EST, not 7:00 PM EST. The Portland Trailblazers, Golden State Warriors, and Phoenix Suns are all scheduled to compete tonight, so it should be a rather high-scoring, uptempo night.

Read on for the best daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel (12/15/16). The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Editor's Note: New users that sign up on FantasyAces, make a $20 deposit, and enter any game will receive BOTH our full season NBA and NFL Premium Passes for free, a $119.99 value. Just email [email protected] with your new FantasyAces username - and boom, that's it! We will email you with your Premium Passes.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SG, vs CHI ($9,900)

Giannis Antetokounmpo struggled against the Atlanta Hawks three games ago, posting under 20 fantasy points in 24 minutes of court time, but he responded with two straight games over 45 fantasy points - one against the Washington Wizards and one against the Toronto Raptors. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Chicago Bulls, and his ceiling is right around 70 fantasy points. For his price tag, that is solid. Surprisingly, Antetokounmpo is a shooting guard on FanDuel, which will leave two point guard spots open, and the point guard position is generally more competitive, which is an added bonus. Use the Milwaukee Bucks star in all leagues.

Jeff Teague - PG, vs IND ($7,000)

Speaking of the point guard position, Jeff Teague is on the board tonight. He gets a great matchup against the Indiana Pacers, a team that loves to push the pace of games, and Teague should benefit from the increased speed of the game. He has over 35 fantasy points in two of his last four games, and against the Phoenix Suns, a team similar to the Indiana Pacers, he posted over 40 fantasy points in 36 minutes. His price tag is very reasonable, but that is because he is also very inconsistent. Do not use him in 50/50 contests. He is a tournament only option tonight.

Also Consider: Will Barton - SG, vs POR ($5,200)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard - SF, at PHX ($8,300)

Kawhi Leonard has been playing extremely well for the San Antonio Spurs of recent, posting over 40 fantasy points in three straight games. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Phoenix Suns, a team that neglects to play much defense at all. Leonard is contributing in all stat categories right now, making him a triple-double threat. His price tag rather high, but with only five games on the slate tonight, it is going to be difficult to avoid him. Leonard can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Nikola Jokic - PF, vs POR ($6,000)

Nikola Jokic is on a fantasy tear right now. In his last game, he posted over 45 fantasy points in 26 minutes. That is not uncommon for Jokic; he is a very high-upside power forward option. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against one of the fastest paced teams in the league. The Portland Trailblazers do play solid defense, but opposing teams tend to benefit, as far as fantasy is concerned. The Denver Nuggets are not going to attempt to slow this game down. It is a great game to attack, and Jokic is a great value option with over 30 fantasy points in five of his last six games.

Also Consider: Taj Gibson - PF, at MIL ($5,300)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Myles Turner - C, at NOP ($6,200)

Myles Turner has great upside tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans are not one of the better defensive teams in the league, and Turner should be able to take advantage of that. With over 30 fantasy points in two straight games now, Turner is starting to heat up from the field. Against the Charlotte Hornets, he shot the ball over 15 times and posted over 40 fantasy points in 34 minutes. He is not very consistent, but he is a great tournament option. Do not use him in 50/50 contests.

Also Consider: Greg Monroe - C, vs CHI ($4,800)
