- "Shots attempted per 60 minutes" reflects a players shots on net + shots that missed net + shots that were blocked. It's a key stat to show how much a player possesses the puck generally, and is a predictive indicator for the number of shots a player will get on net.
- "Points per 60 minutes" reflects a players point production per 60 minutes of ice time. This is a great indicator of how productive a player is in their ice time. If a player has a high Points/60, and they get moved up to a top line, they'll represent a key sleeper play in the we

NHL DFS Picks for for Tuesday, November 3rd
Tuesday night in the NHL brings us 9 games. At this time there is only four goaltenders confirmed starting(NJ-Schneider, STL-Allen, CGY-Ramo,EDM-Nilsson) so check the @jager_bombs9 twitter account for updates throughout the day on Tuesday. There are some spots with added value Tuesday with three teams(DAL, LA, PHI) playing in back to back games and five teams(DAL, LA, PHI, SJ, TB) playing a third game in four nights. There is some opportunity for some high scoring games that we will want exposure to on Tuesday.
Jake Allen - Goaltender, Blues (DraftKings - $7,400 FanDuel - $9,400)
He is a better play on DraftKings but viable on both sites Tuesday. The Blues play host to the Kings who are playing in back to back games and their third game in four nights. He started the year in a time share with Brian Elliot but will be making his 4th straight start and seems to have taken over as the #1 option.
Nathan MacKinnon - Center, Avalanche (DraftKings - $7,300 FanDuel - $6,500)
He makes a great GPP play as he carries multi point upside but also has a low floor, especially on FanDuel where +/- is counted. He is in a nice matchup at home Tuesday vs. the Flames allowing over 4 goals per game.
Taylor Hall - Winger, Oilers (DraftKings - $6,500 FanDuel - $8,100)
He has started the year with a whopping 47 shots on net and 13 points in his first 12 games. A great matchup at home vs. the Flyers playing their third game in four nights on the road.
Brendan Gallagher - Winger, Canadiens (DraftKings - $5,500 FanDuel - $5,500)
Plays on the top line with Pacioretty/Plekanec and they sit as a top 5 scoring line to start the year. He will be looking to get back on track after two off games and sits in a good matchup at home vs. the Senators.
Zdeno Chara - Defense, Bruins (DraftKings - $4,900 FanDuel - $5,900)
Makes a great play in any format on both sites. On DraftKings he picks up blocked shots, on FanDuel his penalty minutes add extra value and his high shot attempt total is is great for both sites. Boston is ranked the #1 offense overall and they rank #1 on the powerplay.
