Cheat Sheet Update For 10/22: Two new advanced stats have been added!
- "Shots attempted per 60 minutes" reflects a players shots on net + shots that missed net + shots that were blocked. It's a key stat to show how much a player possesses the puck generally, and is a predictive indicator for the number of shots a player will get on net.
- "Points per 60 minutes" reflects a players point production per 60 minutes of ice time. This is a great indicator of how productive a player is in their ice time. If a player has a high Points/60, and they get moved up to a top line, they'll represent a key sleeper play in the we

NHL DFS Picks for for Saturday, October 24th
There will be 12 games on Saturday but only 11 of those games are available on DraftKings. The Anaheim/Minnesota is the one game left off DK as it starts an hour before the rest of the games. There are a ton of goaltenders both high priced and low to choose from making it easy to construct multiple lineups tonight. Also note the following six teams are playing on back to back nights:
- Buffalo Sabres (3rd in 4 nights)
- Carolina Hurricanes (3rd in 4 nights)
- Detroit Red Wings (3rd in 4 nights)
- Montreal Canadiens
- New York Islanders
- Tampa Bay Lightning
Carey Price - Goaltender, Canadiens (DraftKings - $8,400 FanDuel - $10,700)
Montreal is playing in back to back games but Price got the night off in a 7-2 thumping of the Sabres. He is the best goalie in the NHL with a .966 save % in six starts so far this year. Montreal is playing lights out and Price will be looking to add to his 18 career wins vs. the Leafs.
Evgeni Malkin - Center, Penguins (DraftKings - $7,000 FanDuel - $8,500)
The Pens have started the year out slow but Malkin has been fairly consistent through the rough stretch. Phil Kessel skated with Malkin on Friday and the pair could create some much needed chemistry in 5 on 5 situations.
Jamie Benn - Winger, Stars (DraftKings - $7,700 FanDuel - $8,900)
The Stars have been a top offense overall and on the powerplay so far this year. Benn and Seguin have been one of the top two players in the league and play with such great chemistry together. He is still priced under $8,000 on DraftKings and should be used almost every night until that prices rises.
James Neal - Winger, Predators (DraftKings - $6,100 FanDuel - $6,400)
Continuing to ride the hot hand for Nashville as Neal has eight points in his last four games. In this time his price has only risen a few hundred dollars. Take advantage of the hot streak while it's alive.
P.K. Subban - Defense, Canadiens (DraftKings - $5,900 FanDuel - $6,600)
In a great matchup at home Saturday vs. the Leafs allowing 2.8 goals a game(26th in NHL). He has a nice floor with a high shot volume and he picks up over a block a game. In a matchup vs. the Leafs he will also carry a nice ceiling with multi point upside.
