Welcome to the Daily Fantasy Hockey (NHL DFS) lineup picks article for October 20th of the 2015 NHL season. Each Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, I'll be providing you with five picks (G, C, W, W, D) for FanDuel and DraftKings GPP and cash games.

NHL DFS Picks for for Tuesday, October 20th

We are back at it Tuesday night to start another week of daily fantasy hockey. Week 1 went really well and looking to improve week by week to help you cash your lineups. There are seven games on tap tonight with no teams playing back to back or three in four. There will be a nice selection of top goaltenders available making it possible to make multiple cash lineups tonight.

Cory Schneider - Goaltender, Devils (DraftKings - $6,800 FanDuel - $8,400)

He is at home Tuesday vs. the Coyotes as -135 favorites. With a salary much lower than other top options, he makes a great cash game play that allows for room to fit some of the top forwards in your lineup tonight.

Tyler Seguin - Center, Stars (DraftKings - $8,300 FanDuel - $8,600)

The Stars have started the year as the leagues #1 offense scoring 3.8 goals per game. He plays top line with Jamie Benn as is averaging nearly 5 shots a game with over 4 min in powerplay time. If you are saving up at goaltender with Schneider, Seguin can be rostered very easily Tuesday night.

Alex Ovechkin - Winger, Capitals (DraftKings - $9,100 FanDuel - $9,600)

Can only be used in GPP formats tonight as his price is sky high. It is justified though as he gets over 20 min ice time a game to go with 4.8 shots per game. He is the #1 option and plays almost every minute on the powerplay. His upside is huge and most likely will be low owned due to the salary.

Tobias Rieder - Winger, Coyotes (DraftKings - $4,000 FanDuel - $5,100)

A nice salary relief option on the Coyotes first line producing the second most goals by a line to start the year. He is only playing around 16:50 per game but over 3 minutes of that is on the powerplay. He also presents a higher floor than other options in his price range due to the amount of shots(3.8/G) he takes. Safe in any format.

John Carlson - Defense, Capitals (DraftKings - $6,200 FanDuel - $5,500)

Better play on FanDuel as he is the 10th most expensive D option. He logs around 24:00 a game and 3:35 on the powerplay. He gets a nice matchup Tuesday on the road vs. the Flames who are near the bottom in goals allowed per game and penalty kill percentage. He is safe in any format on FanDuel and should be reserved for GPP play only on DraftKings.

John Klingberg - Defense, Stars (DraftKings - $4,500 FanDuel - $5,200)

A part of the top scoring team in the NHL and logging nearly 4:00 of ice time on the powerplay. In a great matchup vs. the Flyers in a game that could easily see 5+ goals scored between the two teams.

Oh look at that, Chris selected Carey Price vs. the high-scoring NY Rangers in week two, and Price happened to put up a shutout. Ho-hum...
