Daily Fantasy Football Picks and Advice - DraftKings Lineups and Sleepers: Week 17 NFL DFS

Welcome to the Week 17 edition of Daily Fantasy Football DraftKings targets. An introduction is not really all that necessary, as the title of this DFS article pretty much sums up what is going to be discussed.

It's important to identify players with good matchups, but we also want to look at their DraftKings prices so we can hopefully find low-cost / high-production players for your lineups.

I will be providing one top DFS play and one DFS value play at each position for Week 17 NFL DraftKings action. Let's get down to it.

DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks for Week 17

Aaron Rodgers (vs MIN, $6,800)

Aaron Rodgers has been terrible so far this season for fantasy purposes. As an NFL quarterback, over 3,500 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and only 7 interceptions is a great season, but he is only scoring around 10-20 fantasy points per game, which is not solid for someone of his caliber. However, his price tag is too low this week. His last great game was against the Detroit Lions, and he should come to play against the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers need to pick up a win to get home field advantage in the playoffs and avoid the red hot Washington Redskins first round. Rodgers has the ability to dominate, as anyone who watches football on a weekly basis knows, so use him in tournaments this week.

Kirk Cousins (at DAL, $5,400)

Kirk Cousins is going to start Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys according to Jay Gruden, but it is unknown how much he will play. I'm willing to bet that he plays most of the game, as the Redskins want to go into the playoffs on a positive note. Cousins has been on fire of recent. In his last two games, he has over 35 fantasy points in both of them. Both games consisted of over 300 yards and four touchdowns for the Washington Redskins' gunslinger. He should be able to dominate the Dallas Cowboys' defense this week, and I'll be using him in tournaments. There is no reason to avoid him, but remember that he could get benched at any time, as the Redskins have already clinched a playoff birth.

DraftKings DFS Running Backs for Week 17

DeAngelo Williams (at CLE, $7,100)

DeAngelo Williams is playing better than any running back in the league right now. On the season, he has almost 900 yards, and Williams will be looking to pass the 1,000 yard mark this week against the Cleveland Browns. That is pretty impressive for someone that opened the season as a backup that realistically was going to see under 100 carries this season. Williams ran for over 100 yards in his last game against the Baltimore Ravens, and he should run well this week against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns are not good against the rush, and Williams should thrive. It sounds odd to say, but he will likely outscore both Adrian Peterson and Devonta Freeman this week.

Darren Sproles (at NYG, $4,100)

Darren Sproles is definitely only a tournament play this week against the New York Giants. The Philadelphia Eagles fired their head coach, Chip Kelly, so it'll be interesting to see how the offense operates. Sporles is one of the Eagles go to options on offense, and he also has the ability to return punts for a touchdowns, which adds fantasy value. His price tag is extremely low, and he tends to catch a lot of balls. The Eagles can open up their offense this week in an attempt to show that they do not need Kelly. The Giants are terrible defensively, and Sproles makes for an interesting tournament play on the last week of the season.

DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers for Week 17

Antonio Brown (at CLE, $9,300)

Antonio Brown gets a great matchup this week against the Cleveland Browns, and he should be able to score a ton of fantasy points. In his last four games, he has two games over 40 fantasy points and two games under 20 fantasy points. He is hit or miss considering his price tag. With the ability to catch nearly 20 passes in a single game, it is difficult to avoid Brown this week. Ben Roethlisberger will be playing, and the means Brown will likely succeed. He did not play well last week against the Baltimore Ravens, but he should turn things around this week. Do not avoid him two weeks in a row. If you avoid him last week, well played, but you got lucky.

Michael Crabtree (at KC, $5,900)

Michael Crabtree has had a very successful season so far, and he will look to end it on a positive note. On the season, Crabtree has 82 receptions for 888 yards and 8 touchdowns. He really loves the number eight. He consistently catches at least five passes per game, and he should be able to handle the Kansas City Chiefs. In his last four games, he has three games over 10 fantasy points. His price tag is pretty low, and he should be able to at least hit value. The Oakland Raiders finally have a solid offense, so you might as well take advantage of that.

DraftKings DFS Tight Ends for Week 17

Delanie Walker (at IND, $5,600)

Delanie Walker is easily the best tight end for his price this week. He is consistently scoring 15-25 fantasy points per game, and he is not going to slow down this week against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are not great defensively, and Chuck Pagano is on his way out the door. Walker gets targeted in the double digits every game, and that is impressive for a tight end. There is no reason to avoid him, and he makes for a great 50/50 or tournament play this week.

Benjamin Watson (at ATL, $4,600)

Benjamin Watson did not play on that many snaps last week, which led to only two targets and one reception. However, he should play a lot more this week, as he is most likely feeling a lot better than he was last week. The Atlanta Falcons are not good against the tight end position, and Drew Brees loves to throw Watson the ball. Last week, he lost a touchdown to Michael Hoomanawanui, but I'm willing to bet he finds the end zone this week. The Saints offense is finally starting to look better, so ride them to victory.
