Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (11/9/17): NBA DFS Advice for FanDuel, DraftKings

Jake Finnen's top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 11/9/17. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for FanDuel and DraftKings.

There are five games on the slate tomorrow and spreads are nice and fat. The lowest scoring game of the night, according to Vegas, is going to be the Sacramento Kings - Philadelphia 76ers and even that should be high-scoring close game. The 76ers are trending upwards in a hurry and the Kings have an athletically talented squad that has veteran leadership working its wonders. The Kings record is not entirely indicative of their effort every night so expect a ton of points to be scored tonight. The options will be bountiful so let's get interesting with these picks.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/09/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

Come find me in the #HOOPS CHAT ROOM or on Twitter @HalfCourtJester if you have any questions.

DFS Guards to Consider

T.J. McConnell - PG, PHI @ SAC (DK - $5,000, FD - $5,400)

Even if Philadelphia wants to go big and not play a smaller guard on the court, T.J. McConnell is still getting close to 30 minutes a night and should again tonight. He is a great mixup to the offense and always finds a way to compliment the offense and fill the right gaps. He does a little bit of everything which is good and bad. Bad because he can tend to get buried by players that are hot, but the upside of the 76ers playing well and McConnell getting 30 minutes at point guard. For his price, exceeding value should not be a problem.

DeMar DeRozan - SG/SF, NO @ TOR (DK - $7,200, FD - $7,900)

DeMar DeRozan's price is way too good to pass up. He tends to float closer to the $8,000 price range for DraftKings and DeRozan is like going to draw Dante Cunningham as a defender. While Cunningham might be a solid defender, DeRozan is matchup-proof and is always lined up to have to have a good game. He has taken close to 20 shots in all but three games this season, two of those games being the first two games of the season. DeRozan is relied on for offense in every single game and this one will be no different. Hopefully the Pelicans defense can scare off wavering minds from picking DeRozan.

DFS Forwards to Consider

Norman Powell - SG/SF, NO @ TOR (DK - $3,900, FD - $4,000)

This is clearly a value play and Norman Powell will be a secondary piece to DeRozan, but the Pelicans defense will struggle to contain the Raptors backcourt. If it comes down to Jrue Holiday, E'twuan Moore, or Jameer Nelson...which is has to, Powell has his work cut out for him. The Pelicans will not be a pushover team, so expect the Raptors to look to DeRozan and Powell early and often to get them going. His hot streak ended last game, but playing at home against the Pelicans is the ideal time to get back on track. He will get shots off and many of them will be uncontested.

Ryan Anderson - PF, CLE @ HOU (DK - $4,400, FD - $4,300)

There are a few things that have been evident this season and the Cavaliers shoddy defense is one of them. Ryan Anderson has not changed and without Chris Paul, James Harden makes sure to get Anderson and Eric Gordon their shots. His price is somewhat high for what he should produce, but the Rockets are going to tear away at the Cavaliers defense like noone else can. The best thing about Anderson is that even if Harden doesn't get going, Anderson is a skilled post player that can still, and will generate point if he is simply given the ball.

DFS Centers to Consider

Brook Lopez - C, LAL @ WAS (DK - $6,100, FD - $6,900)

Brook Lopez has been on playing extremely well, and assuming he plays on this back-to-back, Lopez is going to be able to produce against Gortat. If Lopez does not play, both Julius Randle and Kyle Kuzma will see enormous boosts in the value for tomorrow. Kuzma's price has been rising every game and Randle is coming off a great game, so don't be suprised if Walton decided to give Lopez the night off for no reason. If Lopez does in fact play, expect him to have another solid night for a value price.
