Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (11/7/17): NBA DFS Advice for FanDuel, DraftKings

The NBA is working to eliminate three games in four nights to preserve the players. That gives up "weird" slates, such as huge slates on nights that do not normally feature big slates. Tonight, we get a large Tuesday slate after only seeing a few games last night.

The DFS lineup picks for 11/7/17 will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Let's not waste any time and jump right in!

DFS Guards to Consider

Damian Lillard - PG, vs MEM (DK - $8,700, FD - $9,800)

Lillard has caught fire recently, scoring 60+ fantasy points in two of his last three games. He is scoring extremely well with 30 or more points in each of his last four games and 25 points in his last six. He is also contributing in other categories, recording at least five rebounds and assists in each of his last three games. He gets somewhat of a tough matchup against the Grizzlies, but Lillard is an elite option at his current price tag.

Kemba Walker - PG, at NY (DK - $7,300, FD - $7,400)

Walker has cooled down a bit recently, but he is still averaging 22.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.0 steal per game over the last 10 days. He has flashed tremendous upside as the leader of the Charlotte offense. He gets a good matchup against the Knicks, who have struggled defensively at times this season. Walker still comes with a reasonable price tag, and he can be considered in all leagues.

Jarrett Jack - PG, vs CHA (DK - $4,400, FD - $4,400)

Jack has taken over point guard for the Knicks, playing 30+ minutes in three of his last five games. He isn't scoring well, but he has been contributing rebounds, assists, and steals to his lines. He is an extremely cheap player that has quiet triple double potential. He has been a better fantasy option at home this season, and Jack is a decent option in all leagues because of his low price tag.

DFS Forwards to Consider

Giannis Antetokounmpo - PG/SF, at CLE (DK - $10,800, FD - $11,700)

Antetokounmpo had an unbelievable start to the season, but he has since cooled down. Still, through nine games, he is averaging 31.0 points, 9.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.7 steals in 36.5 minutes per game. He is a player that can contribute in each of the five categories. He also has one of the highest usage ratings in the NBA. His price tag is surprisingly low for his upside. He gets a matchup against LeBron James, and if Antetokounmpo truly wants to be considered for MVP, this is a game that he has to perform well in.

DeMarcus Cousins - PF/C, at IND (DK - $11,500, FD - $11,800)

This pick could be Cousins or Anthony Davis. I opted to go with Cousins, though. Cousins is locked into big minutes, and he is averaging 27.0 points, 14.8 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.0 block, and 2.5 steals per game over the last 10 days. He gets a great matchup against a fast paced Pacers team, and Cousins, along with Davis, can be used in all leagues on this slate.

Robert Covington - SF/PF, at UTA (DK - $5,300, FD - $6,300)

Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid get all the love in Philadelphia, but Covington is a player that just continues to perform while flying under the radar. Through nine games, he is averaging 15.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.6 steals in 30.4 minutes per game. He gets a matchup against the Jazz, who have been an average defense against the small forward this season. Covington comes with great upside to go along with decent consistency. He's a great option for his price tag tonight.

DFS Centers to Consider

Dwight Howard - C, at NYK (DK - $7,000, FD - $7,300)

Howard has been enjoying a career resurgence in Charlotte this season. Through 10 starts, he is averaging 14.6 points, 13.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.3 blocks in 30.3 minutes per game. As always, the big problem with Howard has been his free throw shooting, but Charlotte seems content on leaving him in at the end of games, which results in more opportunities for fantasy points. It is a bold basketball strategy, but simply helps fantasy basketball. He is a player that can be used in all leagues tonight.

Robin Lopez - C, at TOR (DK - $5,300, FD - $5,700)

It's tough to know what exactly will happen to Lopez's minutes with Bobby Portis returning from suspension, but Lopez has been named the starter and is expected to play 30+ minutes tonight. He has been enjoying a solid season, scoring double digit points in every game. He gets a solid matchup against an average Toronto defense, and Lopez is a solid salary relief option in all leagues.
