Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (11/01/17): NBA Advice for FanDuel, DraftKings

We have a massive 12 game slate on tap for this Wednesday. With this many teams going, that means we have plenty of options all across the board, along with plenty of value plays. A bit of injuries going around right now, so be sure to check your sources on Twitter for updated info.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/01/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @DFS_Tom on Twitter.

DFS Guards to Consider

Victor Oladipo - SG, IND @ CLE (DK - $7,800, FD - $7,900)

Oladipo is off to a hot start this season, and is seeing a 32.9% usage rate for the Pacers. He has scored 39 fantasy points or more in three of his last four games, and is seeing a ton of work. He has taken double digit shot attempts in each game this season, and will have plenty of chances to hit value. Oladipo is up against Cleveland who are giving up 44 fantasy points per game to shooting guards. This game has an over-under of 218 points, so plenty of offense to go around.

Emmanuel Mudiay - PG, DEN @ TOR (DK - $4,400, FD - $3,900)

Mudiay has over one fantasy point per game in his last three games, and is averaging 0.92 fantasy points per minute on the season. Mudiay has a 26.5% usage rate for the Nuggets, which is highest on the team, but Mudiay does come off the bench. So the number may be slightly off since he doesn't play with the starters. He is up against the Raptors in a game where the over-under has a total set at 213 points. The Nuggets have an implied team total of 107 points, and Mudiay doesn't need much to pay off his low salary.

DFS Forwards to Consider

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF, MIL @ CHA (DK - $12,000, FD - $12,600)

Listen, it's pretty clear that Antetokounmpo is a great play, but let me explain some details. He has a 35% usage rate for the Bucks, which is 10% higher than any of their regular players. He has scored 55 or more fantasy points in each of his six games this season, and should be one of the building blocks of your lineups. He has one of the highest floors out of any player, and will have no shortage of opportunities to score points. He is up against the Hornets, who are giving up 43 fantasy points to small forwards per game, which is seventh worst in the league.

Kristaps Porzingis - PF, NY @ HOU (DK - $8,900, FD - $9,700)

Porzingis has 38.9% usage rate for the Kincks, which is almost 15% higher than any of their normal players. That is insane, and for that amount of touches he is still under $10K. His price really should be higher, and a player of his price can still be under-priced, considering the role he has. Porzingis has 46 fantasy points or more in five of his six games this season, and is up against the Rockets who only give up 43 fantasy points per game to power forwards, which is in the top ten in the league. Yes, it may not be the most favorable match up, but with the usage he is seeing, the chances will be there for him to pay off value.

DFS Centers to Consider

Dwight Howard - C, CHA vs MIL (DK - $7,500, FD - $7,400)

Howard hasn't been getting the love he once had, but he still does plenty to be a viable fantasy option. He has a double double in five of his seven games this season, and is up against the Bucks who are giving up 53 fantasy points per game to centers. For his price and the production you are getting, he might be the best deal on the slate. Yes, he doesn't have the highest ceiling anymore, but the consistency he is bringing if very valuable. Howard has a 25% usage rate, which is second highest on the team, so don't be worried he still gets the looks, just not as dominant as he once was.

Also Consider: Skal Labissiere - C, SAC @ BOS (DK - $4,600, FD - $4,900)
