Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (10/25/17): NBA Advice for FanDuel, DraftKings

We have a 10 game slate to get us through this hump day, and there are plenty of really strong options all across the board. Only a few games into the season, but there are a number of injures starting to pop up, so be sure to check the starting lineups before lock. Lot of high scoring games according to Vegas, so some game stacks isn't a bad idea.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/25/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Guards to Consider

Ricky Rubio - PG, UTA @ PHO (DK - $6,800, FD - $7,600)

Rubio is going to be playing in a pace up spot, which means he will be seeing extra touches and for his price, you really can't beat it. The Suns are a mess on and off the court, and should be a team you look to attack on a nightly basis. The Suns are giving up 58 fantasy points per game to point guards this season. Yes, the sample size is small, but it should be a trend for them all season long. Rubio has a 25.6% usage rate so far this season, and given his playing time, combined with the match up, he makes a great play in any format tonight.

J.R. Smith - SG, CLE @ BKN (DK - $4,000, FD - $3,900)

Smith is up against the Nets tonight, who are a popular option to stack players against since they play at a high pace, and are so bad defensively. This is an ideal spot for really any player, and with the electric and potent upside Smith has, he makes a good play. If he is in the starting lineup, he should be cash game viable, and always a good GPP upside, due to the deep ball he can hit off the bench. He is cheap and offers plenty of salary relief. The Nets are giving up 42fantasy points per game to shooting guards so far this season.

DFS Forwards to Consider

Andrew Wiggins - SF, MIN @ DET (DK - $7,200, FD - $6,900)

With Jimmy Butler being scratched late from Tuesday's game, and his status being declared uncertain for tonight, it puts Wiggins in a good spot to capitalize. Wiggins has a 40.4% usage rate this season with Butler off the court, and exactly the kind of stat you want to look at when a star player is out. Someone else on Minnesota is going to be seeing extra offensive touches now that Butler is not playing, and Wiggins is that guy. He is up against Detroit who are giving up 44 fantasy points per game to small forwards. If Butler is out, for his price Wiggins should be a lock and load in any format.

Otto Porter - PF/SF, WAS @ LAL (DK - $5,900, FD - $7,500)

Porter has been off to a solid start this season and has a very favorable match up in front of him. The Lakers are giving up a league worst 66 fantasy points per game, to power forwards. In a game that has an over around 230 points, you want as much exposure to this game as you can. Porter'r price isn't that expensive on DraftKings, so he should be a core piece for you tonight. Porter has a usage rate of 20% to start the season, which is third highest behind Wall and Beal. Don't be alarmed by that, since he has put up roughly 47 or more points, depending on site, in two of the last three games. Great play in any format.

DFS Centers to Consider

Nikola Jokic - C, DEN @ CHA (DK - $8,900, FD - $8,700)

Listen, Jokic is still too cheap on both sites. Just play him in any lineup you can. Jokic is up against the Hornets who are giving up 62 fantasy points per game to centers, and exactly the spot you want to attack them. Jokic can straight up ball, and will soon be over $10K, so you want to buy in on him, while his price is still low. We saw what he can do last season, just hasn't gotten off to the best start. In his first two games, he only put up seven real points, but then had 29 in his most recent game. He will be chalky, but he is in a great spot.

Also Consider: Jordan Mickey - C, MIA vs SA (DK - $3,000, FD - $3,000)
