Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (10/19/17): NBA Advice for FanDuel, DraftKings

Jake Finnen's top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 10/19/17. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for FanDuel and DraftKings.

There are only three games tonight which means you have to be pinpoint with your selections. Making sure you find the right sleeper and the perfect mid-range guys will make or break your night. With big money options like Russell Westbrook on opening night against the Knicks, you can already see the stats piling up. It is only the second night of basketball so trends are still developing, but do not be afraid to take gambles in the first week.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/19/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @HalfCourtJester on Twitter.

DFS Guards to Consider

Lou Williams - LAC @ LAL (DK - $5,000, FD - $4,700)

For a mid-range option, it does not get much better than Lou Williams. First of all, this is kind of like a revenge game for him. Second, the Lakers defense is not going to be good. This is a perfect cocktail for Williams to have himself a night to the tune of 23-25 points, a few rebounds and decent number of assists. Williams has options like Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan at his disposal, meaning when he drives, he'll be looking to find the easy bucket. As good as Williams is at scoring the ball, expect him to dissect the defense through his passing and vision tonight.

Tyler Ennis - LAL vs LAC (DK - $3,200, FD - $3,000)

Staying relative in Los Angeles, Tyler Ennis is the backup point guard who has flashed more than enough potential to give him a nod the DFS world. He can score, pass and hustles around the court generating stats. He might be behind Lonzo Ball, but we know that Ball is going to struggle at some point. Ennis might not steal the show, but for his price, you are the getting the steal if you play him.

DFS Forwards to Consider

Michael Beasley - SF, NY @ OKC (DK - $3,900, FD - $4,000)

So what if my next two picks are Knicks players. They have the ability to pile on stats and work well in their roles. Micael Beasley is going to be a bright spot in the Knicks rotation all season. He is a consistent scorere who can drive and has an efficient mid-range pull up jumper. The Oklahoma City defense has yet to see the court, but assuming Roberson is the one locking down Beasley might be optimistic. Due to his ability to split defenses, more teams will often let a player like Beasley try and beat them, rather than Kristaps Porzingis. Both players are going to be the offensive backbone so look for either one to be going off each night.

Enes Kanter - PF, NY @ OKC (DK - $5,600, FD - $5,900)

There is nothing more comforting than knowing defense has no affect on DFS. Kanter is an absolute stat hog and will get you rebounds and points. Not to mention this is a revenge game for Kanter, you can expect him for atleast 20 points and around 8 rebounds. The Thunder will have to stick Patrick Patterson on him, and anyone who has seen Kanter's style knows that you need a solid defender to keep him from scoring. Kanter will get points and his price is fairly low for his ceiling.

DFS Centers to Consider

Robin Lopez - C, CHI @ TOR (DK - $5,200, FD - $5,600)

Robin Lopez has been one of the most consistent two-way players in the league. Constant hustle, excellent touch and the ability to hit free throws means he is capitalizing everywhere on the court. On defense, he can get you easy blocks and can finish around the rim. Steven Adams is a decent rim protector, but Lopez uses his body well to eliminate size and skill advantages. Look for Lopez to start off the season right and Toronto will struggle to contain the Zach Lavine - Robin Lopez tandem that is going to run the Bulls offense.
