DFS Captain Plays

Jame: Over the last month, Jame has been one of the most dominant players in CS:GO. He currently has a K/D ratio of 1.56. A team rating of 1.30, and is averaging .77 kills per round and only a minimal .49 deaths per round. With the high chance of a sweep here, Jame is one of my favorite plays on the slate whether or not in the captain spot. He is averaging over 40 kills per game and that's just in games where they have swept their opponent. There is a reason he is the 2nd highest priced player on the slate and that's pretty much it right there. He is worth every penny.

ropz: You can really go dexter or frozen here as well but I do like the discount we get on ropz as well. He is still a very consistent player and is averaging a 1.20 K/D and is getting around .76 kills per round as well as .62 deaths per round. They are getting new players in dexter and acoR and as we aren't sure how much this will affect the team as a whole I do believe it will be for the better as both of these players are great additions. These guys should get the sweep bonus and I do think ropz will be a top player on the team if they do. Mousesports is going to be a dangerous team to look out for.

BlameF: Usually I would go with K0nfig but I really like the price reduction we got on BlameF here. It's going to make making a lineup a lot easier as we have more salary left over to play around with. I'm only going to use the last three matchups as this is with their core players since poizon has come back. These last three matches all resulted in sweeps and BlameF went +15, +14, +20 in those three games. All while averaging over 40 kills. Complexity has been running through teams after getting back to their core and I don't expect that to stop any time soon either. NiP is a good matchup for them and we will see how they do but BlameF or K0nfig are great plays here.

Other captain plays: K0nfig, Yekindar, Dexter, Brollan, NAF/Elige

DFS Value Plays

acoR: I'm really liking the price at 6.4k on acoR. Formally he was on MadLions and has now come over to join a better team in mousesports. I do think this affects his production a little bit as he won't be the main focus of kills but I do think he still has quite a bit of upside and if he can get hot with AWP. He has a very high upside for his price. He will be a critical piece in a Mousesports team stack if that is the direction you go. I am a little hesitant with the addition of dexter as we haven't seen any games yet with all these guys together, but they have a very good matchup to start out with and it will be a great place to see how things go together.

Stewie2k: Stewie for 6k? Against MiBR? Who they just ran through? YES PLEASE! Stewie isn't normally a player I love to roster as he is usually a negative player but in matchups like this against teams that aren't very good is a time I love to play Stewie. Stewie is good against bad teams, that's just how it is. Against MiBR just the other day he went +7 on the day and got the sweep bonus. He has about 1.03 K/D and is averaging .7 kills per round and .68 deaths per round. Nothing special but for a Value play that's something I like and with the sweeping potential there, I like it even more.

Sanji/qikert: These guys normally switch off as who wants to be the lesser player on the team and that's fair when your team has just been so dominant that these guys get to do that and still score well based on that hefty sweep bonus that VP has received multiple times recently. Qikert is consistently more a mid-tier player and can go off at times, whereas Sanji I mainly just love his price and boom/bust potential. Because he is either a +10 type or a -15 type. qikert is the play I would recommend over Sanji but if you are desperately low on salary Sanji at 5,800 isn't a horrible option and you just hope VP can pull the sweep as we expect them to with that big MoneyLine that continues to grow hour by hour.

Other Value Plays: JW, jks, RUSH(PUNT), ISSAA

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Mouz: Mousesports might be one of the most improved teams I have seen come around. They dropped the dead weight in chrisJ and Karrigan and brought in some studs by grabbing dexter who was one of the best players on Renegades who they play right away. As well as acoR from MadLions. These are both fantastic pickups for Mousesports and they have demonstrated that they can be a lethal team with just the addition of acoR. This is a team to watch out for in the play-in tournament.

I love all the plays here except Bymas. He is about the last of the dead weight but it's just not viable to have a perfect team. acoR is a fantastic value play and if he can get his AWP, he will be a dominant play for this team. I'm holding off until I see how Dexter plays with his new team especially since he is the highest-priced player on the slate. Both Ropz and frozen are fine at their prices. The main thing Mouz needs to focus on is shutting down INS who is the Renegades top player currently. I do think Mousesports wins this one 2-0 but if INS gets to them this could be a three map affair.

Complexity: Complexity is at full strength and looked absolutely dominant in their first tournament back from getting poizon on the squad again. They swept all three teams they played including Vitality and G2 in the process. They get a decent matchup against NiP who has been off and on recently so I do like the chances here for Complexity to pull a sweep off. BlameF and K0nfig are the clear plays to start your lineup with as well as jks and poizon to round it out. RUSH is still struggling but he has shown sparks, they just aren't consistent enough, therefore he's not worth much more than a hopeful sweep.

Virtus.Pro: Where do I even start with this team. VP has been one of the most dominant teams in the league right now. Winning 14 of their last 15 matchups up until their most recent game against Gambit where they lost 2-1. They have won Flashpoint 2, DreamHack Open December, and the cs_summit 7. As well as got 3rd place in the snow Sweet Snow tournament. They are just on a tear recently and I expect that to continue into this tournament where they get a very good matchup that I want to target against Wisla Krakow who is 76th in the world and coming off losing 3 of their last 4 games. VP is definitely the play here and more than likely will be the highest owned on the slate. Jame and Yekindar are both great captain plays. Buster has been pretty good and is a mid-tier play I like. And both the value in Qikert and Sanji. VP wins here 2-0.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Team Liquid, Fnatic, OG

Predictions

Mousesports beats Renegades 2-0
Virtus.Pro beats Wisla Krakow 2-0
Complexity beats NiP 2-0
Fnatic beats OG 2-1
Team Liquid beats MiBR 2-0
