Fantasy Baseball Impact Of The Colorado Rockies Selecting The Contract Of Cole Tucker

The Colorado Rockies selected the contract of infielder Cole Tucker on Monday, per a tweet from the National League West franchise’s Communications Department Twitter account:

Tucker enjoyed a highly productive season with Colorado’s Triple-A affiliate, batting .311 with a .419 on-base percentage, five home runs, and seven stolen bases in 267 plate appearances. He also added a 120 wRC+ while seeing playing time across the diamond at shortstop, second base, first base, and in both center field and right field.

The 27-year-old has already picked up a hit, a walk, two runs scored, and an RBI in five plate appearances with Colorado this season. He is certainly someone to consider in deeper leagues if he can carve out a regular role with the Rockies and replicate even some of his Triple-A production. Of course, it also doesn’t hurt his fantasy potential that he’ll be playing half his games at Coors Field.
