CBB DFS: Main DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/28/24)

Aden Holloway - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's Main DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/28/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

Does DraftKings read my articles? Because they have gone and totally redeemed themselves! We have 16 games on two slates tonight, but the split is much more manageable with the 9 p.m. games moved to the late slate. That gives us 10 games in the main and six games in the nightcap. Thanks a lot! This is going to be great! We'll concentrate on the 10-game main slate first before we tackle the late. Missouri and Florida get us started in Gainesville as an appetizer before the normal tip time.

The regular window takes us up I-75 to Knoxville with Auburn on Rocky Top. Providence heads to Milwaukee to take on Marquette. Northwestern heads to College Park hunting turtles. Louisville is hunting crazies in Cameron Indoor (they'll find many). Oklahoma heads up I-35 to Ames trying to avoid Hilton Magic. Central Florida heads to Stillwater to face the Pokes. Cal heads to Boulder for a date with the Ralphies. The Gamecocks head to College Station to take on the Aggies. We end this in Indy with St. John's taking on Butler.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for the main slate on DraftKings on 2/28/24, starting at 6:30 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Devin Carter, Providence ($9.5K)

I don't know how you say no to Carter right now. He has been a machine since Bryce Hopkins went down. Carter has at least 30 DraftKings points in every game without Hopkins and has topped 49 five times in 11 games. I like those odds. In case you're wondering why I chose 49 instead of 50, two of those games were between 49 and 50. Both round up to 50, but some get after me for that. The first game against Marquette was all the way back on December 19, when Providence still had Hopkins. Carter put up 40.5 DraftKings points in that one. I like his odds of clearing 50 tonight, making him my favorite play on the slate.

Darius Johnson, Central Florida ($7.4K)

Johnson has at least 32 DraftKings points in four straight and six of the last seven. In this conference, that's quite an achievement. Johnson is a good scorer, but he has at least two steals in eight straight games. That piles up points in a hurry when coupled with his scoring (14.3 points) and assists (4.0). This is a favorable matchup for Johnson. I feel like he's  a little bit underpriced for the production lately.

Quion Williams, Oklahoma State ($6.7K)

Too bad it took an injury for Williams to get a starting job. He is averaging 13.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.7 blocks, and 0.7 steals in those six starts. That includes a forgettable game against Houston in which he only scored eight points...eight DraftKings points. Williams has produced against everyone else and just put up a season-high 21 points against Oklahoma over the weekend. He's getting better every time he starts except the Houston game. That's the kind of trend I'll buy in on.

Aden Holloway, Auburn ($4.2K)

I don't usually run guys at Tennessee, but if Holloway is going to start again, he's underpriced. Holloway returned to the starting five over the weekend against Georgia and played a season-high 28 minutes. His 15 points were the most since December 17. Holloway is mostly a scorer and will likely pull up a slice of bench if he goes cold, but the upside is worth the risk for a value play.

Also consider: Tyler Kolek, Marquette ($8.7K); Dalton Knecht, Tennessee ($8.5K); Boo Buie, Northwestern ($8.3K); Sean East II, Missouri ($7.5K); Javon Small, Oklahoma State ($7.2K); Tamar Bates, Missouri ($6.5K); Rivaldo Soares, Oklahoma ($5.7K); Jalen Celestine, California ($5.3K); Santiago Vescovi, Tennessee ($4.9K); Corey Floyd Jr., Providence ($4.5K); Rich Barron, Providence ($3.8K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Julian Reese, Maryland ($8.2K)

Wow, look at all those tough matchups for the high-priced forwards tonight! Reese's isn't any better, but he has scored 29 DraftKings points in six straight games. He had a solid game against Northwestern the first time around, but he also took only eight shots. Reese has been more aggressive on offense lately, taking double-digit shots in five of those six games. He should at least hit 30 DraftKings points again. I can't say that about anyone else in this range at forward tonight. That said, I would drop down to Kyle Filipowski if he is in the lineup with no limitations. He ravaged Louisville in the first meeting.

Joel Soriano, St. John's ($7.2K)

Soriano has scored at least 30 DraftKings points in all three games since returning to the starting five. Whatever message Rick Pitino was trying to get across to him, it seems to have worked. Soriano posted a double-double in two of those three games. He topped 30 against Butler in the first meeting. We have no reason to believe that he won't hit that mark tonight.

Tobe Awaka, Tennessee ($5.2K)

Awaka isn't supplanting Jonas Aidoo anytime soon, but he is one of the better fantasy points-per-minute players out there. Awaka has played 56 minutes over the last three games and racked up 74.75 DraftKings points. This is a trend worth watching. Awaka's upside is through the roof if he gets anywhere near 25 minutes.

Jordan Geronimo, Maryland ($4.7K)

Yes, another Maryland frontcourt guy. This isn't going to be easy against Northwestern, but all three Maryland frontcourt starters are underpriced tonight, even in this matchup. What stands out about Geronimo is his double-double against Rutgers on Sunday. His return to the lineup against Wisconsin after missing a week was a forgettable foul-plagued mess. If he's popping double-doubles at this price, he can slingshot us up the leaderboard quickly.

Also consider: Johni Broome, Auburn ($9K); Kyle Filipowski, Duke ($8K); Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, Louisville ($7.7K); Jonas Aidoo, Tennessee ($7.6K); Jalon Moore, Oklahoma ($6.9K); Donta Scott, Maryland ($6.4K); Noah Carter, Missouri ($6.1K); Robert Jones, Iowa State ($5.7K); Alex Condon, Florida ($5.4K); Thomas Haugh, Florida ($4.5K); Glenn Taylor Jr., St. John's ($4K)
