CBB DFS Lineup Picks - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice for FanDuel for 2/22/16

With teams now fighting for seedings in their respective conference tournaments, the college basketball season is starting to heat up. The casual college basketball fan is starting to tune in to do some research for march madness. There’s no better way to stay engaged than with some Daily Fantasy College Basketball DFS.

There are 20 games on tonight's slate, meaning plenty of sleepers and value picks to choose from for your GPPs and cash games on FanDuel.

Without further delay, below are our favorite Daily Fantasy College Basketball picks for FanDuel DFS games for February 22, 2016.

CBB DFS Players to Target

Georges Niang - F - Iowa State - $9,600

Niang, the most expensive player of the night, will reward every owner who plays him. West Virginia plays a very high pressure defense that just played a long tough game against Oklahoma. Iowa State, having one of the best point guards in the country in Monte Morris will beat the press and create a lot of one-on-one opportunities of Niang down low. It will also create opportunities for open threes. If Iowa State is to win, Niang will be relied on heavily and have a big game.

Javan Felix - G - Texas - $5,800

Felix is one of the toughest and streakiest players in the country. Texas just got blown out by a Baylor team and could not figure out how to beat the zone. Kansas State plays a defense that will give Felix more opportunities to run the high pick and roll and get easy points at the line. If Felix can successfully create havoc in the lane early in the game he will be able to get a lot of easy assists to Ibeh who should have a big game down low. Look for Felix to open the game shooting some threes to stretch the defense as well.

CBB DFS Value Plays

Prince Ibeh - F - Texas Longhorns - $5,500

Ibeh, severly undervalued tonight, is coming off of one of the worst games of his career. He got in foul trouble early and played very limited minutes. Ibeh will redeem himself against Kansas State and has the potential to deliver two or three times value. He will be able to get some open looks from the pick and roll and will dominate down low on offense and defense to stuff the stat sheet.

Isaiah Wilkins - F - Virginia Cavaliers - $5,100

Wilkins, a Forward for Virginia is one of the more underrated players in the country. His last three games he has been on fire despite being in foul trouble last game. Miami was exposed on defense against North Carolina, so look for Wilkins to have a very solid game down low. For $5,100 Wilkins's upside is off the charts.

CBB DFS Players to Avoid

Angel Rodriguez - G - Miami Hurricanes - $7,100

Rodriguez is one of the more expensive guards tonight. He has a nightmare matchup against Virginia who is one of the best defensive teams in the country. They will pressure and create turnovers against Rodriguez. In games that Rodriguez commits early turnovers he gets frustrated and gets in foul trouble and puts up bad shots. Look for Rodriguez to not be able to deliver on his high price tag.

Devin Williams - F - West Virginia - $8,000

Williams is the fourth most expensive player of the night and I would stay away from him completely. Williams has been struggling as of late getting into foul trouble way too often. Iowa State has guards that will be able to penetrate the defense and go at Williams early to try and get him in foul trouble. Williams will also have to work hard on the defensive end if he is guarding Niang. Look for Williams to have a good game, but not a good enough game to take him for $8,000.
