DraftKings, FanDuel DFS Guards

Tre Jones - G, Duke (FanDuel $7,500 DraftKings $8,100)

Stephen F Austin plays at the 20th fastest pace in the country. Duke plays at the 24th. This game is going to be up and down and we want as much exposure as we can. Especially with the rest of the games on the slate being pretty slow. Tre Jones is one of the best players in college and he's been super consistent this season, though we expected 35, not 28-30. This fast-paced match-up sets up perfectly for Jones and I think he easily gets over 30 fantasy points in this one. His price has dropped on both sites and he's a lock in all formats.

John Comeaux - G, Stephen F. Austin (FanDuel $5,200 DraftKings $5,900)

It's hard to find value on this slate, but John Comeaux is certainly interesting against Duke. They have a solid defense, but their pace is what makes this game so much fun. Comeaux has been a bit up and down through the first four games, but he should play heavier minutes than usual in this match-up and they’re going to need him in a big way. The point guard averaged 11 points per game and nearly four assists. He’ll end up averaging closer to seven or eight assists as the season progresses. His price is low on both sites and I’m a fan in all formats. This game is going to be fast.

Landres Nolley - G, Virginia Tech (FanDuel $8,300 DraftKings $7,800)

Landers Nolley is worth considering if you don’t want over-exposure to Duke. I personally think two or three Blue Devils is just fine, but Nolley has a 30-fantasy point floor with how he’s shooting the ball. Dayton doesn’t necessarily play fast, but they’re not very strong defensively on the perimeter. Expect lower ownership than Jones and a great GPP pivot.

DraftKings, FanDuel DFS Forwards

Vernon Carey Jr. - F, Duke (FanDuel $8,000 DraftKings $8,600)

Carey recorded his fourth-straight double-double last time out against Georgetown in just 28 minutes. He’s proving himself as one of the best players in the entire country and he’s my overall top play on this slate. SF Austin plays even faster than Duke and Gavin Kensmil is going to have a miserable time trying to contain Crey Jr. his price still isn’t high enough on either site and I’m a fan in all formats.

Emmitt Matthews Jr. - F, West Virginia (FanDuel $4,700 DraftKings $4,900)

Matthews Jr. is a guy who’s struggled to find the bucket in his last two games, but will typically sit around that 25-30 fantasy point mark. Northern Iowa isn’t a strong defensive squad and Matthews’ athleticism is going to give them fits. He’s far too cheap and nearly a lock to hit value in this match-up. On DraftKings, I love Danjel Purifoy and Nathan Cayo for value.
