DraftKings, FanDuel DFS Guards

Samir Doughty - G, Auburn (FanDuel $7,300 DraftKings $8,300)

Both FD and DK have this Auburn - New Mexico game listed and we want as much exposure to it as we can get. With a 157 total, it’s 17 points higher than the second highest-scoring game. Both of these teams like to get up in PACE and we’re going to see a ton of transition basketball in this one. With Harper and Brown gone, Doughty has the ball in his hands every play and he’s been great to start the season. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in three of five games so far and this is by far the best match-up to date. Auburn May put up 80 points in this game and Doughty will be on the floor for 32-35 minutes. He’s my favorite play on the slate.

Kamar Baldwin - G, Butler (FanDuel $6,300 DraftKings $6,500)

Baldwin was terrible in his first two games, playing a combined 19 minutes. If we take those two away, we’re looking at three straight games of 30+ minutes and 30+ fantasy points. He’s going to be around that 35-minute mark once again and he’s the leading scorer for Butler even with those two stinkers included. Baldwin can score from anywhere on the floor and he’s a guy that’s going to be $7k very soon. Jump aboard now while he’s still underpriced on both sites.

DraftKings, FanDuel DFS Forwards

James Banks III - F, Georgia Tech (FanDuel $7,100 DraftKings $8,500)

If you want to pay up at forward, it’s either the Aub - UNM game or James Banks. I have a lot of exposure to Bragg Jr. and Okoro, but I don’t want to just focus on one game in this entire article. James Banks III has the most upside on the slate at F And he’s already shown it with 50 fantasy points this year. Banks has an astounding 17 blocks in just three games, so this Arkansas team is going to need to stay far away from the paint. I expect Banks to play 30+ minutes here and put up 40 fantasy points. He won’t be very popular.

Danjel Purifoy - F, Auburn (FanDuel $5,300 DraftKings $5,100)

Okoro is a solid play for Auburn at F, but Purifoy is cheaper and playing just as many meaningful minutes. Purifoy was a huge prospect out of high school and while he’s had a decent career, this is his season to prove himself. He’s averaging 30 minutes a night and his usage is over 20%. I love the price on both sites and you have to figure value will come easy in such a fast-paced environment. Do not hesitate to have five or six guys in your lineup from this game.
