However, their season ended with 30-27 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round. During the regular season, the Buccaneers posted a record of 13-4, making them the Champions of the NFC South.

This season, Tampa Bay will look to once again be strong on offense, as the team averaged 30.1 points per game in 2021-2022, placing them 30.1 in the league. The Buccaneers will square off against last season's 7th ranked scoring defense. Tampa Bay averaged 29.0 points per game against top 10 defenses in the 2021-2022 season.

Leading into this week's matchup, Tampa Bay will once again roll with Tom Brady in his 23rd season in the league. Brady is coming off a season in which he started all 17 games for Tampa Bay. His overall passing yards of 5,316 placed him 1st among other NFL quarterbacks.

During the regular season, the Dallas Cowboys posted a record of 12-5-0, making them the Champions of the NFC East.

As the Cowboys take on the Cowboys, they will hope for a big game from last year's 1st ranked offense. Last season's unit averaged 31.2 points per game. Coming into the game, the Cowboys' offense will look to put up points against last year's 5th ranked scoring defense. Last season, they scored an average of 23.25 points per game vs top 10 scoring defenses.
