Coach Camara

4150 articles

I grew up watching the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics, which sparked my passion for sports. I took it to the next level when I turned 15 and started playing fantasy sports, asking to join a fantasy football league for the first time. I played in my first fantasy league in 1996, and a year later, I played fantasy baseball and fantasy basketball. Although I have played fantasy sports for almost 30 years, I didn't start writing in the fantasy industry until 2019, when I was a news correspondent at FantasyPros. I worked there for a few years until joining RotoBaller in June of 2021, where I worked on the news desk and rose through the ranks to become one of the main MLB/NFL news desk editors and a core member of RB as a lead editor for both MLB/NFL. I also help compile our weekly football rankings, waiver wire advice, and are offseason baseball ranks. Fun Fact. After meeting me at the FF Expo, the co-founders of RotoBaller decided to nickname me Coach Camara. My two main sports are baseball and football. Occasionally, I will dip into the NBA, but I am primarily involved in our football and baseball content. I used to write a ton, but now I'm more involved behind the scenes, editing and helping bring out the best of our award-winning news desk. At RotoBaller HQ, we are always providing the fastest and most in-depth fantasy news in the industry! I am an FSWA member. Some of my accolades include winning my TGFBI league in 2021 and finishing in the top 10 overall out of hundreds of managers in the fantasy baseball industry. Additionally, that same year, I finished in the top 10 as a fantasy baseball ranker in the FantasyPros ECR rankings. I was nominated for Best Player Notes of the Year in 2023 by the FSWA. TGFBI, NERF, Kings Classic, and the Scott Fish Bowl are some of the current industry leagues I am in. You can always follow my work or contact me on X @BCamara30.
