Anthony Richardson, Joe Burrow, Aaron Rodgers - 2024 Fantasy Football Outlooks For Injured Quarterbacks

Fantasy football outlooks for injured quarterbacks Anthony Richardson, Joe Burrow, and Aaron Rodgers in 2024. Which quarterback should fantasy managers target in 2024 fantasy drafts?

In the 2023/2024 NFL season, we saw a lot of starting quarterbacks get hurt. The likes of Joe Burrow, Anthony Richardson, and Aaron Rodgers were among the players who suffered season-ending injuries.

All of their teams failed to make the playoffs last season; however, we are now heading toward a new season, and the fans of those teams are once again optimistic about their chances.

What's the latest on Burrow, Richardson, and Rodgers? Are they ready to play in Week 1? Let's take a look at the fantasy outlook of all three quarterbacks.

Anthony Richardson 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

Anthony Richardson suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 5 of the last season against the Tennessee Titans. The Indianapolis Colts quarterback later had surgery but is now fully healthy to play.

Richardson has been a full go in the Colts' training camp, and barring any late setbacks, he will play in Week 1. He was the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, and in four games that he played last season, the Florida product impressed everyone.

Richardson threw for 577 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception last year with a passer rating of 87.3. He also rushed for 136 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries, displaying his potential of being an explosive double-threat quarterback. Richardson will once again be a fantasy favorite quarterback this year, and it will be ideal to get him as he has the capability of becoming one of the best quarterbacks in the league if he stays healthy.

Joe Burrow 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

Joe Burrow dealt with a calf injury heading into last season and ultimately was ruled out of the rest of the season after suffering a wrist injury in Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback is also fully healthy and ready to play in Week 1. Burrow needs no introduction as he is a proven commodity. As long as the LSU product is healthy, he will be among the top three quarterbacks in the league, and his team will be a Super Bowl contender.

The Bengals have improved their offensive line this offseason, and Burrow will be a good pick for the managers looking to draft a quarterback in the middle rounds. In his last fully healthy season, Burrow threw for 4,475 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in 16 games with a passer rating of 100.8.

Aaron Rodgers 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

Aaron Rodgers' debut with the New York Jets was a complete disaster. The four-time NFL MVP suffered a season-ending Achilles injury on the team's first drive of the season, and despite hinting at a return later during the season, he decided to stay out.

Rodgers, like the other two quarterbacks mentioned above, is also fully healthy and on track to play in Week 1. Although he missed the Jets' mandatory minicamp, the veteran quarterback is fully participating in the team's training camp and is building chemistry with the other players on the field.

Many believe that Rodgers is on a decline; however, if he plays all 17 games and the Jets' offensive line stays healthy, expect him to have another great season. There is a rumored possibility of Davante Adams getting traded to the Jets this year, and if that happens, Rodgers is likely to have a monster season.

Adams is likely staying put in Las Vegas, but the wide receiver group of Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams, Allen Lazard, and Malachi Corley could be enough help for the future Hall of Famer.
