ANALYSIS: One of our writers Rek outlined the waiver wire pickup of Andre Williams last week here as one of his running back sleepers. This was a fantastic call as Williams will now be the lead running back for the Giants over the next 2 weeks (and maybe more), due to Rashad Jennings going down with a knee sprain.
We can expect the Giants to use Williams the same way in which they used Jennings, and he could easily be a top 15 running back for the next two weeks due to his tasty upcoming schedule (Philadelphia, Dallas). If you’re looking for a fill-in RB over the next two weeks, a BYE replacement, or a great FLEX option with upside for much more, Andre Williams is someone you should heavily consider picking up if he is still hanging out on your Week 6 waiver wire. He was one of our favorite preseason sleepers, and now will get his opportunity to handle the lead back role for the Giants. It should be fun to watch this talented rookie do his thing.
