ANALYSIS: It hasn’t been pretty, but aside from a matchup with the very elite Broncos defense, Alex Smith continues delivering solid fantasy performances. This past week he didn’t even score a touchdown, but in typical Alex Smith fashion he didn’t have a turnover either and added 25 rushing yards. The atypical part was that he threw for 386 yards, which was a career high. He won’t do that again, but he has a good chance to throw for a couple of touchdowns against the Bears. Don’t fear the Bear, as Smith makes a very good play here for a second week in a row.
